    APPLICATION OF THE PEER TEACHING JIGSAW LEARNING METHOD TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN LEARNING IPS
    (Research on Grade IV Students at SDN Cikawari
    on Historical Heritage Material)

    This study aims to increase student success in social studies learning. The difficulty that occurs in the field is that student learning outcomes are classified as low because students are less involved in learning activities so it requires improvement so that student learning outcomes can increase. The method used in this study was classroom action research which was successfully carried out in two cycles with two meetings in each cycle. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in the implementation of the research were fourth-grade students at SDN Cikawari, totaling 30 students. The collection technique used by ladies is using interviews, documentation, observation, and giving tests. The results showed that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Cikawari in social studies with the application of the Peer teaching jigsaw learning method. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of student learning outcomes before acting, namely 46.67 with a percentage of completeness of 23%, which increased in cycle I, the average value of students was 64 with a percentage of completeness of 54% and in cycle II, the average value of students was 84 with a completeness percentage of 93%. This increase shows that the application of the Peer teaching jigsaw learning method can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Cikawari in social studies subjects. Thus the Peer teaching jigsaw learning method can be used by teachers in learning activities to involve students actively.
