Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor Badan Narkotika Provinsi Jawa Barat. Latar belakang penelitian ini melibatkan kepentingan untuk memahami peran komunikasi interpersonal dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di lingkungan organisasi seperti Kantor Badan Narkotika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan melalui survei terhadap 84 pegawai sebagai responden penelitian. Variabel penelitian yang diamati meliputi komunikasi interpersonal dan kinerja pegawai, yang diukur dan dioperasionalisasikan menggunakan angket kuesioner menggunakan rating scale. Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa: : (1) komunikasi interpersonal telah dilakukan sangat efektif, (2) kinerja pegawai telah dilaksanakan dengan kategori sangat tinggi, (3) komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja pegawai. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat berguna bagi manajemen sumber daya manusia di lingkungan organisasi serupa, agar dapat mengimplementasikan program pelatihan dan pengembangan komunikasi interpersonal untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of interpersonal communication on employee performance in the Office of the Narcotics Agency, West Java Province. The background of this research involves an interest in understanding the role of interpersonal communication in improving employee performance in an organisational environment such as the Office of the Narcotics Agency. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The research was conducted through a survey of 84 employees as research respondents. The research variables observed include interpersonal communication and employee performance which are measured and operationalised using a Rating scale questionnaire. The findings showed that: (1) interpersonal communication was carried out very effectively, (2) employee performance was carried out with a very high category, (3) interpersonal communication has a significant positive effect on employee performance. The implications of this study may be useful for human resource managers in similar organisations to implement interpersonal communication training and development programmes to improve employee performance.
