Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengembangan Google Sites untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam pelaksanaan program literasi di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Keterbatasan media literasi dan buku bacaan yang menarik, variatif, dan banyak telah menghambat pelaksanaan GLS di SD. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan media Google Sites dilakukan untuk digunakan sebagai media literasi dalam program literasi yang dapat mengakomodasi buku. Google Sites yang dikembangkan memuat buku bacaan fiksi dan pertanyaan untuk memantik tanggapan peserta didik sesuai dengan prinsip kegiatan pada tahap pengembangan GLS di SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Educational Design Research (EDR). Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu analisis dan eksplorasi, desain dan konstruksi, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Pada tahap pertama dilakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kebutuhan atas buku bacaan yang banyak dan beragam serta belum ada Google Sites yang digunakan sebagai media dalam pelaksanaan GLS di SD. Tahap kedua dilakukan dengan membuat Google Sites berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan. Tahap ketiga dilakukan dengan memvalidasi produk yang telah dibuat hingga dinyatakan layak kemudian dilakukan uji coba sebanyak dua kali. Uji coba diikuti oleh 22 peserta didik kelas VI SD berdasarkan pertimbangan GLS masih dilaksanakan di kelas tersebut. Pendidik dan peserta didik memberikan respons positif terhadap Google Sites dalam uji coba yang dilakukan. Pada uji coba kedua respons terhadap Google Sites dan minat membaca peserta didik meningkat. Oleh karena itu, Google Sites ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media literasi dalam pelaksanaan program literasi di SD, terutama dalam tahap pengembangan. This study aims to describe the development of Google Sites to be used as a media in implementing literacy programs in elementary schools. The limitations of literacy media and books that are interesting, varied and numerous have hampered the implementation of literacy programs in elementary schools. Therefore, Google Sites media development was conducted to be used as literacy media in literacy programs that can accommodate books. The Google Sites developed contain fiction books and questions to stimulate learners' responses in accordance with the principles of activities at the development stage of the School Literacy Movement in elementary schools. This research used the Educational Design Research (EDR) development model. The research was conducted through three stages, namely analysis and exploration, design and construction, and evaluation and reflection. In the first stage, data collection was conducted using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the analysis showed that many and varied reading books were needed and there were no Google Sites used as media in the implementation of the School Literacy Movement in elementary schools. The second stage was carried out by creating Google Sites based on the results of the needs analysis. The third stage was carried out by validating the product that had been made until it was declared feasible and then testing it twice. The trial was attended by 22 grade 6 elementary school students based on the consideration that the School Literacy Movement was still being implemented in the class. Educators and students gave a positive response to Google Sites in the trials conducted. In the second trial, the response to Google Sites and students' interest in reading increased. Therefore, these Google Sites can be used as an alternative literacy media in implementing literacy programs in elementary schools, especially in the development stage.
