Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh financial literacy, preferensi risiko dan overconfidence terhadap keputusan investasi mahasiswa FPEB UPI dengan gender sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif verifikatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 320 mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang telah atau sedang mengontak mata kuliah seputar investasi. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan teknik proportionate statified random sampling. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan korelasi product moment dan uji realibilitas menggunakan crocnbach’s alpha. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer berupa jawaban responden yang dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda, analisis regresi moderasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji F dan uji t dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 28. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa financial literacy dan overconfidence memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap keputusan investasi, begitu juga gender memoderasi pengaruh financial literacy dan overconfidence terhadap keputusan investasi. Sedangkan variabel preferensi risiko tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap keputusan investasi, begitu juga gender tidak memoderasi pengaruh preferensi risiko terhadap keputusan investasi. Kata Kunci: Keputusan Investasi, financial literacy, preferensi risiko, overconfidence, gender ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy, risk preference, and overconfidence on the investment decisions of FPEB UPI students with gender as a moderating variable. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive verification method. The research sample consisted of 320 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Education at the Indonesian University of Education who had or were currently contacting investment courses. Sampling method with proportionate statistical random sampling technique. Test the validity of the instrument using the product-moment correlation and test the reliability using Cronbach's alpha. The data in this study are primary data in the form of respondents' answers collected by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, moderated regression analysis. Hypothesis testing uses the F-test and t-test with the help of SPSS version 28 software. The results of the hypothesis testing show that financial literacy and overconfidence have a positive effect on investment decisions, and gender moderates the effect of financial literacy and overconfidence on investment decisions. Meanwhile, the risk preference variable has no effect on investment decisions, and gender does not moderate the effect of risk preference on investment decisions.
