    Abstract

    Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami isteri di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 402 diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan alat ukur komunikasi interpersonal yang dibuat oleh Muslihah (2014) berdasarkan teori Devito (1995) dan alat ukur kepuasan pernikahan yang dikembangkan oleh Humaira (2016) dengan mengacu pada teori Bradbury (2000). Data di analisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Sprearman rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami isteridi Kota Bandung.

    The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and marital satisfaction in married couples in City Bandung. This study uses quantitative approach with a correlational design. There were 402 respondents in this study, who were taken using the accidental sampling technique. Data collection used an interpersonal communication instrument created by Muslihah (2014) based on Devito’s theory (1995) and a marital satisfaction instrument developed by Humaira (2016) concerning Bradbury’s theory (2000). The data were analyzed using Spearman rho correlation. The results showed that there was a relationship between interpersonal communication and marital satisfaction in married couples in City Bandung.
