Abstract

Latar belakang: Diabetes melitus ialah penyakit yang sering ditemui dan dialami oleh masyarakat di Indonesia bahkan di dunia. Penderita diabetes melitus membutuhkan bantuan dari keluarganya dalam perawatan diri. Dukungan keluarga memegang peranan penting terhadap perawatan diri. karena keluarga dapat membagikan dukungan berbentuk dukungan emosional, informasi, penghargaan, dan instrumental, sehingga penderita diabetes melitus mampu melakukan perawatan diri dengan baik. Tujuan: untuk memberikan gambaran dukungan keluarga terhadap pelaksanaan perawatan diri penderita diabetes melitus. berdasarkan studi literature review. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, artikel didapatkan dari tiga database yakni Google scholar, Pubmed, dan Semantic scholar. Picost frowenwork digunakan untuk memetakan yang ditemukan, P: Populasi adalah penderita diabetes melitus I: intervensi,adalah dukungan keluarga C: Komparasi adalah dukungan keluarga yang baik dan kurang O: hasil mencantumkan dukungan keluarga terhadap pelaksanaan perawatan diri penderita diabetes melitus S: desain penelitian adalah studi croos sectional T: waktu publikasi artikel pada rentang waktu 2018 – 2022. Hasil: berdasarkan 11 artikel yang dianalisis, menyatakan bahwasanya ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap pelaksanaan perawatan diri penderita diabetes melitus. Ketika penderita diabetes melitus menerima dukungan keluarga yang baik maka perawatan diri juga akan meningkat, sebaliknya dukungan keluarga yang kurang maka perawatan diri tidak akan berjalan dengan optimal. Background: Diabetes mellitus is a disease that is often encountered and experienced by people in Indonesia and even around the world. People with diabetes mellitus need help from their families with self-care. Family support plays an important role in self-care. Because families can share support such as emotional, informational, appreciation, and instrumental support, so people with diabetes mellitus are able to do good self-care. Purpose: to provide an overview of family support for the implementation of self-care for people with diabetes mellitus. Based on a literature review study. Method: This research used a literature study with articles obtained from three databases: Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Semantic Scholar. PICOST framework was used to map the found. P – The population was people with diabetes mellitus. I – Intervention was family support. C – Comparison was good, and less family support, O – Outcome included family support for the implementation of self-care for people with diabetes mellitus. S – Study design was a sectional cross-sectional study. T – The time of publication of the article was in the period 2018–2022. Results: Based on 11 articles analysed, it was stated that there was a relationship between family support and the implementation of self-care for people with diabetes mellitus. When people with diabetes mellitus receive good family support, self-care will also increase; otherwise, with less family support, self-care will not run optimally.
