Abstract

Firli Asri Ilyasin. Pengaruh psychological well-being terhadap kepercayaan diri yang dimediasi perilaku prososial pada mahasiswa rantau di Kota Bandung. Program Studi Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Bandung. (2023). Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh psychological well-being terhadap kepercayaan diri yang dimediasi perilaku prososial pada mahasiswa rantau di kota bandung. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel terdiri atas 385 mahasiswa rantau di Kota Bandung yang aktif berkuliah di semester 1 sampai 4 yang dipilih secara acak. Peneliti menggunakan Instrumen Kepercayaan Diri Lauster yang dimodifikasi oleh Sherine (2022) untuk mengukur kepercayaan diri, lalu instrumen Prosocial Scale Caprara yang dimodifikasi oleh Zahirah (2019) untuk mengukur perilaku prososial, dan Instrumen Ryff Psychological Well-Being yang dimodifikasi oleh Indira (2021) untuk mengukur Psychological Well-being. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana dan berganda, lalu menggunakan sobel test untuk mengetahui nilai mediasi. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh psychological well-being terhadap kepercayaan diri yang dimediasi oleh perilaku prososial pada mahasiswa rantau di Kota Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of psychological well-being on self-confidence mediated by prosocial behavior among regional students in the city of Bandung. Researchers used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 385 regional students in Bandung City who were actively studying in semesters 1 to 4 who were randomly selected. Researchers used the Lauster Self-Confidence instrument which was modified by Sherine (2022) to measure self-confidence, then the Caprara Prosocial Scale instrument which was modified by Zahirah (2019) to measure prosocial behavior, and the Ryff Psychological Well-Being Instrument which was modified by Indira (2021) to measure Psychological Well-being. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple regression, then using the sobel test to find out the value of mediation. The results show that there is an influence between psychological well-being on self-confidence which is mediated by prosocial behavior in regional students in the City of Bandung..
