Abstract

Media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu unsur penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurang bervariasinya media pembelajaran yang guru gunakan, dan dampaknya adalah peserta didik kurang termotivasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan dampaknya adalah pembelajaran kurang bermakna bagi peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan media dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi interaktif pada materi keragaman sosial dan budaya di kelas V sekolah dasar yang dapat menjadi solusi dalam pengembangan media yang berbentuk digital yang variatif khususnya pada materi keragaman sosial dan budaya di kelas V sekolah dasar. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan metode design and development model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analyze (analisis), design (perancangan produk), development (pengembangan produk), implementation (implementasi/uji coba produk), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Penelitian pengembangan ini melibatkan dosen pembimbing serta validator ahli. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, judgment/expert review dan angket. Hasil penelitian media ini menunjukan kelayakan 88% dari ahli materi, 96% dari ahli media, dan 78% dari ahli bahasa. Saran dan masukan dari validator menjadi acuan dalam memperbaiki produk untuk selanjutnya diujicobakan kepada pengguna dengan perolehan hasil kelayakan 100% dari pengguna pendidik, dan 91% dari pengguna peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video animasi interaktif pada materi keragaman sosial dan budaya sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPS di Kelas V sekolah dasar. ------ Learning media is one of the important elements in learning activities. This research is motivated by the lack of variety of learning media that teachers use, and the impact is that students are less motivated in learning activities and the impact is learning that is less meaningful for students. The purpose of this study was to find out the process of developing media and producing interactive animated video-based learning media on social and cultural diversity material in grade V elementary school which can be a solution in the development of varied digital media, especially on social and cultural diversity material in grade V elementary school. school. The development of this media uses the ADDIE design method and development model which consists of the stages of analysis (analysis), design (product design), development (product development), implementation (product implementation/testing), and evaluation (evaluation). This development research involved supervisors and validator experts. The instruments used were interviews, judgment/expert review and questionnaires. The results of this media research show the feasibility of 88% of material experts, 96% of media experts, and 78% of linguists. Suggestions and input from the validator become a reference in improving the product to be further tested on users with the acquisition of 100% feasibility results from educator users, and 91% from student users. Based on these results, it can be concluded that interactive animated video media on social and cultural diversity material is very suitable for use in Social Studies learning activities in Class V elementary schools.
