Abstract

Educational tourism / edutourism is very important to be applied for children so that their skills can be honed properly. The right place to do educational tourism is Kampung Kolecer Tourism which is located in Cisayong Village, Cisayong District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine a strategy to increase the number of visitors who choose eduwisata when there are many competitors. The reason for this research, seen from the phenomenon that occurs is no longer using the system of learning while playing/educational tourism for children. Kolecer Village Tours provide education about traditional and cultural games. The problem experienced by Kolecer Village Tourism is the decrease in the number visitors who choose educational tours in the Tasikmalaya district. This includes external problems where the researcher uses qualitative methods through Porter's approach and then analyzes based on what happened in the field and then identifies through the five competitive forces, namely Porter's Five Forces so that a new strategy formulation will emerge using a priority scale then applying the results of the strategy formulation. The results of the priority scale are quadrant 1 with numbers (2,3,5), quadrant 2 (1,7), quadrant 3 (4,6,8), quadrant 4 (9,10). The strategy that must be maintained is contained in number 2-6-8-9 and the strategy that must be developed is contained in number 1-3-4- 5-7-10.
