Abstract
Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada studi pendahuluan menunjukan bahwa karakter entrepreneur mahasiswa masih rendah karena pembelajaran kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi hanya difokuskan pada teori konsep kewirausahaan tanpa memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter entrepreneur secara mutlak, dan beberapa dosen hanya fokus pada pemahaman mindset dan nilai-nilai wirausaha. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dirancang sebuah model pembelajaran berupa model internalisasi nilai Performance Character dalam membina karakter entrepreneur berbasis paradigma Effective Citizen Model dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan untuk menjadi pedoman bagi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan (Research dan Development) dengan tahapan (1) studi pendahuluan yang bersifat evaluatif dan eksploratif, terhadap model pendidikan Performance Character sebelumnya, (2) merancang model konseptual, (3) validasi model, (4) ujicoba model konseptual, (5) revisi hasil ujicoba untuk mendapatkan model akhir, dan (6) penyusunan laporan penelitian. Adapun tempat penalitian yaitu di IAI Tasikmalaya dan Universitas Perjuangan. Melalui serangkaian langkah tersebut, dihasilkan model ineternaliasi nilai Performance Character yang sudah dinilai praktis dan valid oleh praktisi dan ahli. Komponen isi dalam model ineternaliasi nilai Performance Character memuat komponen pendahuluan, ruang lingkup materi, langkah-langkah model ineternaliasi nilai Performance Character, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Setelah finalisasi model ineternaliasi nilai Performance Character selesai kemudian di uji coba luas, berdasarkan hasil analisis data bahwa model ineternaliasi nilai Performance Character terbukti effektif meningkatkan karakter entrepreneur mahasiswa. Peningkatan nilai karakter entreupreneur yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil analisis data setelah menggunakan treatment berupa model internalisasi nilai Performance Character berbasis paradigma Effective Citizen Model, dari hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa model yang ditelah dikembangkan efektif untuk membina karakter entrepreneur mahasiswa. Adapun hasilnya terlihat dari data deskripsi hasil analisis data pada kelas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang mengalami perbedaan pada saat pretest. Kata Kunci: Ineternaliasi Nilai, Performance Character, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan The data in preliminary study shows that the students’ entrepreneur character stands in low category because entrepreneurship studying in the university level strongly focus on theories entrepreneur theory concept without strengthening entrepreneurship character values comprehensively, and some lecturers plays only on mindset and entrepreneur values. To overcome the problem, performance character value internalization in building entrepreneur character through effective citizen model-based entrepreneurship education paradigm designed and developed. It will become a handbook for the teachers in teaching entrepreneurship. The methodology using Research and Development with the following stages (1) Conducting Evaluative and explorative preliminary study for the concepts before, (2) designing a conceptual model, (3) validating the model, (4) trying out of the conceptual model, (5) revising trials results for fixing the final model, and (6) finalizing report. The places of conducting research are IAI Tasikmalaya and Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya. Those series steps produce the practice model of internalization performance characters values. The model contents in the performance character internalization value covers preface, materials/topics, steps of performance character internalization value, and evaluation. After the model completed, then it is examined in large scope. Based on the analysis data, it concluded that the model of internalization performance characters values strongly gives significant effectively in improving students’ entrepreneurship character. The significant positive improvement is presented by the analysis data after using treatment in the internalization of performance character value in building entrepreneur characters through effective citizen model -based entrepreneurship education paradigm. The result of the research concludes that the model developed is effective in guiding and teaching students’ entrepreneurship character. The result can be recognized in the analysis data description of experiment class and control that has different Score when doing pre test.
