Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning terintegrasi STEM dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan memperoleh nilai hasil belajar yang melampaui KKM pada peserta didik dalam materi momentum dan impuls, dilatarbelakangi oleh kemajuan teknologi dan pembelajaran abad 21 yang menuntut peserta didik memiliki keterampilan abad 21 salah satunya kreativitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pre experimental design dalam bentuk one group pretest posttest design yang dikombinasikan dengan one shot case study yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Sumedang. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA di sekolah tersebut sebanyak 43 peserta didik. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Kreativitas peserta didik dalam penelitian ini ditinjau dari dua elemen kreativitas yaitu person (pribadi) dan process (proses). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner CPAC dan lembar observasi kreativitas peserta didik untuk mengamati sikap peserta didik dalam mengukur elemen person, lembar penilaian kreativitas desain untuk mengukur proses kreatif peserta didik (elemen process) yang memuat aspek fleksibilitas, fluensitas, originalitas, dan elaborasi, dan tes akhir momentum dan impuls berupa 10 soal pilihan ganda untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini pembelajaran dilaksanakan menggunakan model problem based learning dengan mengintegrasikan unsur STEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik berdasarkan hasil analisis n-gain sebesar 0,433 berada pada kriteria sedang pada elemen person berdasarkan aspek act dan flow dan dengan profil kreativitas peserta didik berdasarkan aspek fleksibilitas, fluensitas, originalitas, dan elaborasi sebesar 68,46% dengan kriteria cukup kreatif. Perolehan hasil belajar dalam kriteria tinggi untuk 10 peserta didik (23%), dalam kriteria sedang untuk 27 peserta didik (63%), dan dalam kriteria rendah untuk 6 peserta didik (14%), Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar dari 43 peserta didik adalah sebesar 76,40 yang melampaui nilai KKM. Maka berdasarkan analisis dari hasil temuan dalam penelitian, penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terintegrasi STEM dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan memperoleh hasil belajar yang melampaui KKM pada peserta didik. The purpose of this research was to describe how the implementation of problem-based learning can increase the creativity and extend the learning outcomes which pass over KKM for students in momentum and impulses topic, against the background of technological advances and 21st century learning which requires students to have 21st century skills, one of which was creativity. This research used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design in one group pretest posttest design combined with one shot case study which carried out in one of the high schools in Sumedang Regency. The sample in this study were 43 students in class X MIPA at the school. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The creativity of students in this study was viewed from two elements of creativity namely person and process. The data collection instrument used was the CPAC questionnaire and student creativity observation sheets to observe students' attitudes in measuring elements person, a design creativity assessment sheet to measure students' creative processes (element process) which contains aspects of flexibility, fluency, originality, and elaboration, and the final momentum and impulse test in the form of 10 multiple choice questions to measure student learning outcomes. In this research, learning was carried out using a model problem based learning by integrating STEM elements. The results showed an increase in students' creativity based on the results of the analysis n-gain of 0.433 is in the medium criteria on the element person based on aspects act and flow and with the creativity profile of students based on aspects of flexibility, fluency, originality, and elaboration of 68.46% with creative enough criteria. Acquisition of learning outcomes in high criteria for 10 students (23%), in medium criteria for 27 students (63%), and in low criteria for 6 students (14%), The average value of learning outcomes from 43 students is 76.40 which extends the KKM score. So based on the analysis of the findings in the research, the application of the learning model problem based learning integrated STEM can increase creativity and obtain learning outcomes that pass over the KKM for students.
