Abstract

Skripsi dengan judul “Proses Kreasi Bandung Beatbox dalam Menampilkan Karya Musik”, ini berawal dari ketertarikan peneliti pada musik beatbox dan kreativitas yang dimiliki oleh kelompok musik Bandung Beatbox. Penelitian ini akan mendiskusikan mengenai proses kreasi yang dilakukan Bandung Beatbox dalam menampilkan sebuah karya. Untuk menjawab persoalan ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang bersifat menggambarkan secara terperinci mengenai masalah yang diteliti. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah berdasarkan pada hasil wawancara dan observasi oleh penulis untuk nantinya ditarik kesimpulan guna menjawab perumusan masalah yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Adapun hasilnya dapat dinyatakan bahwa proses kreasi pada Bandung Beatbox dilakukan oleh setiap personalnya masing-masing dengan kemampuan yang mereka miliki serta kemampuan musikal personal sebelum bergabung ke dalam komunitas Bandung Beatbox mempengaruhi proses belajar dan berlatih beatbox personal. Durasi waktu yang ditempuh untuk belajar bergantung pada kemampuan awal yang dimiliki oleh setiap personal. Dalam membangun chemistry-nya, Bandung Beatbox memiliki cara-cara untuk anggotanya saling dekat dan mengenal satu sama lain. Namun, proses pendekatan ini relatif dan tidak dapat dipukul rata karena setiap personal memiliki proses dan waktu yang berbeda-beda. The thesis entitled “Bandung Beatbox Creation Process in Presenting Musical Works”, this originated from the researcher's interest in beatbox music and the creativity possessed by the Bandung Beatbox music group. This research will discuss the creation process carried out by Bandung Beatbox in displaying a work. To answer this question, a qualitative research method was used with a qualitative descriptive approach which describes in detail the problem under study. The data obtained is then processed based on the results of interviews and observations by the author to later draw conclusions to answer the formulation of the problems that have been made before. The result can be stated that the creation process at Bandung Beatbox is carried out by each individual with the abilities before joining the Bandung Beatbox community affecting the process of learning and practicing personal beatbox. The duration of time taken to study depends on the initial abilities possessed by each person. In building its chemistry, Bandung Beatbox has ways for its members to get closer and get to know each other. However, the process of this approach is relative and cannot be averaged because each person has a different process and time.
