Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan pembelajaran permainan terhadap keterampilan bermain siswa dalam pembelajaran bola besar yaitu permainan bola tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan modifikasi pembelajaran permainan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain bola tangan pada siswa kelas IX C SMP 1 Pasundan Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrument yang digunakan adalah GPAI (Game Performance Assesment Instrument), observasi, dokumentasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas IX C SMP 1 Pasundan Bandung yang terdiri dari 32 siswa (13 perempuan dan 19 laki-laki). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat hasil proses pembelajaran siswa pada observasi awal memperoleh 27% dari tiga indikator yaitu support, decision making, dan skill execution, dari observasi awal sampai siklus satu tindakan satu memperoleh kenaikan sebanyak 6% menjadi 33%, siklus satu tindakan dua meningkat sebanyak 8% menjadi 41%, siklus dua tindakan satu meningkat 15% menjadi 51%, siklus dua tindakan dua meningkat sebesar 29% hingga menjadi 80%. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menunjukan terdapat peningkatan terhadap keterampilan bermain siswa setelah menerapkan modifikasi pembelajaran permainan dalam pembelajaran permainan bola tangan. This study was motivated by the problem of game learning and students' playing skills in learning big ball, namely handball games, this study aims to determine whether the application of game learning modifications can improve handball playing skills in class IX C students of SMP 1 Pasundan Bandung. This study uses a class action researd method. The instrument which is used in this researd is the GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument), observation, documentation and evaluation. The research of subject which is involved is IX C grade students of SMP 1 Pasundan Bandung that consisted of 32 students (13 girls and 19 boys). Based on the result of this study, it was found that the result of the students learning process in the initial observation obtained 27% of the three indicators namely support, decision making, skill execution, from the initial observation to cycle one action one obtained incereale of 6% to 33%, cycle one action two increased by 8% to 41%, cycle two action one increased 15% to 51%, cycle two action two increased by 29% to 80%. Based on the results of data processing and analiysis, it showed that there was an increase in studens' playing skills after implementing game modifications in handball game learning.
