Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran financial knowledge terhadap financial behavior studi pada generasi Z di Kota Bandung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif verifikatif, serta metode yang digunakan ialah explanatory survey dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 responden dengan objek penelitian yaitu generasi Z di kota Bandung yang berusia 20-24 tahun. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan program IBM SPSS versi 26.0 for windows. Hasil temuan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel financial knowledge berpengaruh signifikan terhadap financial behavior, dimana tingkat financial knowledge berada pada kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat financial knowledge yang dimiliki oleh generasi Z di Kota Bandung maka akan semakin meningkatkan financial behavior generasi Z di Kota Bandung. This study aims to obtain an overview of financial knowledge on financial behavior studies on generation Z in the city of Bandung. The type of research used was descriptive verification research, and the method used was an explanatory survey with a purposive sampling technique with a total of 100 respondents with the object of research being Generation Z in Bandung, aged 20-24 years. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS version 26.0 for windows. The findings obtained in this study indicate that the financial knowledge variable has a significant effect on financial behavior, where the level of financial knowledge is in the good category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the higher the level of financial knowledge possessed by generation Z in the city of Bandung, the financial behavior of generation Z in the city of Bandung will further improve.
