Abstract

KETELADANAN GURU SEBAGAI UPAYA PEMBINAAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN DAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SISWA KELAS VI DI SDN UMBUL KAPUK Desi Apriani Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Kampus Daerah Serang, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Guru sangat dituntut untuk berperan aktif dalam menanamkan dan membentuk karakter disiplin, dan tanggung jawab yang baik pada siswa. Pada dasarnya yang terpenting bagi siswa adalah figure yang baik, yang bisa mereka tiru dan mereka contoh untuk masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus..Berdasarkan pemaparan hasil kuisioner di atas, dapat dilihat bahwa terdapat implikasi keteladanan guru terhadap karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa kelas VI di SDN Umbul Kapuk. Pernyataan tersebut dibuktikan dengan rata-rata seluruh point hasil kuisioner yang menunjukkan 87% siswa sudah memiliki karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Dalam konteks ini, program-program yang dilakukan guru terhadap karakter siswa di lakukan secara berulang-ulang dan harus dibiasakan pada anak setiap harinya. Lama kelamaan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa akan terbentuk melalui proses itu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengamatan di SDN Umbul Kapuk, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keteladanan guru dalam menanamkan karakter disiplin siswa Kelas VI di SDN Umbul Kapuk sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik melalui pembiasaan dan pendekatan kepada siswa, serta memberikan teladan dalam berbagai indikator karakter disiplin. Guru-guru di sekolah tersebut juga memiliki tingkat disiplin yang cukup baik dan baik dalam menjalankan tugas mereka sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Pada implikasi keteladanan guru terhadap karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa kelas VI di SDN Umbul Kapuk dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu keteladanan yang ditunjukkan oleh guru dapat berdampak positif pada karakter siswa, terutama pada aspek disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Guru yang menjadi contoh dalam hal disiplin dan tanggung jawab dapat membantu siswa memahami pentingnya nilai-nilai tersebut dan menjadi lebih terorganisir dan fokus dalam memenuhi tanggung jawab mereka. ABSTRACT TEACHER'S EXECUTIVE CHARACTER AS AN EFFORT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHARACTER OF DISCIPLINE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF CLASS VI STUDENTSAT UMBUL KAPUK SDN Desi Apriani Elementary School Teacher Education Program, Serang Regional Campus, Indonesia Education University Teachers are required to play an active role in instilling and forming the character of discipline and good responsibility in students. Basically the most important thing for students is a good figure, which they can emulate and become an example for their growth and development. The researcher in this research used a qualitative research method with a case study approach. This statement is proven by the average of all points in the questionnaire results which show that 87% of students already have the character of discipline and responsibility. In this context, the programs carried out by the teacher on student character are carried out repeatedly and must be habituated to children every day. Gradually the character of discipline and student responsibility will be formed through that process. Based on the results of research and observations at Umbul Kapuk Elementary School, it can be concluded that the teacher's example in instilling the disciplinary character of Class VI students at Umbul Kapuk Elementary School has been well implemented through habituation and approach to students, as well as providing examples in various indicators of disciplinary character. The teachers at the school also have a fairly good level of discipline and are good at carrying out their duties in accordance with applicable regulations. From the implications of the teacher's example on the character of discipline and responsibility of grade VI students at SDN Umbul Kapuk, it can be concluded that the example shown by the teacher can have a positive impact on student character, especially on the aspects of discipline and responsibility. Teachers who model discipline and responsibility can help students understand the importance of these values and become more organized and focused on fulfilling their responsibilities.
