Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi yang dibuktikan dengan rata-rata hasil Penilain Akhir Semester (PAS) tahun ajaran 2021/2022 kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung yang masih belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran adversity quotient dalam memediasi pengaruh status social ekonomi orang tua terhadap hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey eksplanatori dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Sembilan sekolah yang tersebar di wilayah kota Bandung sebanyak 1063 siswa dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 290 siswa yang diperoleh dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan variabel mediasi dan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 24 for Windows. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (i) status sosial ekonomi orang tua berada pada kategori sedang, adversity quotient berada pada kategori tinggi. (ii) status sosial ekonomi berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. (iii) adversity quotient berperan memediasi sebagaian (partial mediation) pengaruh status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap hasil belajar., : This research is motivated by student learning outcomes in economics subjects, as evidenced by the average results of the End of Semester Assessment (PAS) for the 2021-2022 academic year in class XI social studies at state high schools throughout the city of Bandung, which still does not meet the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This study aimed to examined the role of the adversity quotient in mediated the influenced of parents' socioeconomic status on learning outcomes. The method used in this studied was an explanatory survey with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population of this studied was nine schools spread across the city of Bandung, with a total sample of 290 students obtained through a random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with mediating variables, with the helped of the SPSS 24 for Windows program. The resulted founded in this studied were as followed: (i) the socioeconomic status of parents was in the moderate category, and the adversity quotient was in the high category. (ii) Socioeconomic status positive affected learning outcomes. (iii) the adversity quotient mediated (partially) the influenced of parents' socioeconomic status on learning outcomes.
