Abstract

Pembelajaran berbicara di sekolah dasar diarahkan untuk bisa berkomunikasi secara efektif, bernalar, mengungkapkan pikiran dan perasaan. Namun, kemampuan berbicara saat proses pembelajaran terdapat siswa yang pasif dan belum memiliki keberanian untuk mengungkapkan pikirannya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebelum menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw di kelas IV SDN Ujung Menteng 01, mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sekolah dasar setelah menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw di kelas IV SDN Ujung Menteng 01, mengetahui pengaruh model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw di kelas IV SDN Ujung Menteng 01 terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan pre-eksperimen desain one-group pretest postest. Sampel yang digunakan kelas IV b sebanyak 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian: 1) kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebelum menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw kelas IV di SDN Ujung Menteng 01 Kota Jakarta Timur termasuk kategori sedang dengan rata-rata pretest sebesar 56,8; 2) kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia setelah menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw, kemampuan berbicara siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata posttest 82,67 kategori tinggi; 3) terdapat pengaruh model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia Kelas IV di SDN Ujung Menteng 01 Kota Jakarta Timur sebesar 63,5%. However, during the learning process, some students are passive and do not dare to express their thoughts. The research aimed to determine students' speaking ability in learning Indonesian before applying the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model in class IV of SDN Ujung Menteng 01, to find out the speaking ability of students learning Indonesian in elementary school after implementing the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model in class IV SDN Ujung Menteng 01, to determine the effect of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model in class IV of Ujung Menteng 01 Elementary School on improving students' speaking skills in elementary school Indonesian language learning. The method used was a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used in class IV b was 30 students. The results of the study: 1) students' speaking ability in learning Indonesian before applying the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning model for class IV at SDN Ujung Menteng 01 East Jakarta City is in the moderate category with an average pretest of 56.8; 2) students' speaking ability in learning Indonesian after applying the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model, students' speaking ability has increased with an average posttest of 82.67 in the high category; 3) there is an influence of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model on students' speaking skills in Indonesian Class IV learning at SDN Ujung Menteng 01 East Jakarta City of 63.5%.
