Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana tingkat pemahaman atlet pelatcab rowing Kota Bandung tentang prosedur keselamatan saat beraktivitas di air. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 atlet pelatcab rowing Kota Bandung yang telah mengikuti Porprov Jawa Barat XIV 2022. Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling yang berarti menggunakan keseluruhan populasi untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Tingkat pemahaman atlet pelatcab rowing Kota Bandung tentang prosedur keselamatan di air berada pada kategori “rendah” sebesar 19% terdiri dari 4 orang, kategori “sedang” sebesar 57.1% terdiri dari 12 orang, dan kategoti “tinggi” sebesar 23.8% dengan jumlah 5 orang. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Tingkat pemahaman atlet pelatcab rowing Kota Bandung tentang prosedur keselamatan di air masuk dalam kategori “sedang ke tinggi” sebesar 80.1% yaitu dengan jumlah 17 orang. This study discusses the level of understanding of the Bandung City rowing athletes regarding safety procedures when doing activities in water. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study were 21 rowing athletes from the city of Bandung who had participated in the XIV 2022 West Java Province Sport. The data analysis method in this study was quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, which means using the entire population as the research sample. The results of this study are that the level of understanding of rowing athletes in Bandung about safety procedures in water is in the "low" category of 19% consisting of 4 people, the "moderate" category is 57.1% consisting of 12 people, and the "high" category is 23.8 % with a total of 5 people. Based on this study, it was concluded that the level of understanding of rowing athletes in Bandung City regarding safety procedures in water was included in the "medium to high" category of 80.1%, with a total of 17 people.
