Abstract

Abstrak Penerapan Model STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) Untuk Meningkatkan Percaya Diri Siswa Di Kelas IV SDN Perigi Baru Faradilla Nurhaliza Dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya percaya diri siswa ketika proses pembelajaran, yang didasari oleh pengalaman peneliti ketika mengajar dan hasil observasi yang dilakukan. Pembelajaran yang terpusat pada guru membuat siswa kurang berinteraksi sehingga percaya diri nya pun rendah. Saat bertanya, menjawab dan memberikan pendapat pasti siswa mengalami keraguan sehingga memilih tidak mengeluarkan suaranya. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi masalah ini yaitu dengan menerapkan model STAD dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN Perigi Baru. Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu, 1) mengetahui proses penerapan model pembelajaran STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa di kelas IV SDN Perigi Baru. 2) mengetahui hasil peningkatan rasa percaya diri siswa di kelas IV SDN Perigi Baru setelah penerapan Model Pembelajaran STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan di kelas IV SDN Perigi Baru dengan jumlah siswa 18 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpulan berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan lembar observasi percaya diri siswa. Didapatkan hasil percaya diri siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II setelah penerapan model STAD selama 4 pertemuan. Dilihat dari hasil observasi yang didapatkan pada siklus I menunjukkan 7 siswa dengan persentase 44% yang sudah tuntas dalam memenuhi indikator percaya diri yang ada dan pada siklus II menunjukkan 15 siswa dengan persentase 83% yang sudah tuntas dalam memenuhi indikator percaya diri yang ada. Dengan begitu penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil dalam penerapan model STAD untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa di kelas IV SDN Perigi Baru. Kata kunci: Model STAD, Percaya Diri Siswa Abstract Implementation of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) Model to Increase Student Confidence in Class IV SDN Perigi Baru Faradilla Nurhaliza It is motivated by the problem of low student confidence during the learning process, which is based on the experience of researchers when teaching and the results of observations made. Teacher-centered learning makes students less interactive so their confidence is low. When asking questions, answering and giving opinions, students definitely experience doubts so they choose not to make their voices heard. One of the solutions to solve this problem is by implementing the STAD model in the learning process in class IV SDN Perigi Baru. The objectives to be achieved in this study are, 1) knowing the process of implementing the STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) model to increase student confidence in class IV SDN Perigi Baru. 2) knowing the results of increasing student confidence in class IV SDN Perigi Baru after the implementation of the STAD Learning Model (Students Teams Achievement Divisions). This research used the method of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was conducted in class IV SDN Perigi Baru with 18 students. This study used collection instruments in the form of teacher activity observation sheets and student confidence observation sheets. The results of student confidence increased from cycle I to cycle II after the application of the STAD model for 4 meetings. Based on the observation results in cycle I, it shows 7 students with a percentage of 44% who have successfully met the existing self-confidence indicators and in cycle II, it shows 15 students with a percentage of 83% who have successfully met the existing self-confidence indicators. Then this research can be said to be successful in implementing the STAD model to increase student confidence in class IV SDN Perigi Baru. Keywords: STAD Model, Student Confidence
