Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh lemahnya self determination mahasiswa yang menunjukan perilaku mahasiswa yang belum seutuhnya mampu menyelesaikan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik, lemahnya self determination bahkan bisa mengakibatkan adanya brunout bahkan drop out. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui tingkat self determination yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa serta mengetahui apa saja faktor yang mempengaruhi self determination bagi mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan cross sectional survey design. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability. Jumlah partisipan sebanyak 500 mahasiswa S 1 angkatan tahun 2018 yang tersebar dari delapan fakultas dan dua puluh tiga prgram studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat self determination mahasiswa sebanyak 364 mahasiswa berada pada tingkat integrated regukation dengan proposisi tertinggi 72,6, sementara masing masing dari aspek self determination memiliki perubahan dinamika psikologis yang cukup besar, kompetensi 47,6, keterhubungan 66,6, kemandirian 70,4. Dengan demikian tingkat self-determination menunjukan pada tingkat yang tinggi yaitu integrated regulation. Rekomendasi ditujukan pada program studi bimbingan dan konseling, BPKPK dan Mahasiswa. Kata Kunci : Self determination, Mahasiswa, Police brief, Rach model The background of this research is the weak self-determination of students which shows the behavior of students who are not fully able to complete their duties and responsibilities properly, weak self-determination can even result in brunouts and even drop out. This study aims to determine the level of self-determination possessed by students and to find out what are the factors that influence self-determination for students. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative research approach with a cross sectional survey design. The technique used in sampling using nonprobability. The number of participants was 500 2018 undergraduate students from eight faculties and twenty-three study programs. The results showed that the level of self-determination of students as many as 364 students were at the level of integrated regulation with the highest proposition of 72.6, while each aspect of self-determination had a significant change in psychological dynamics, competence 47.6, connectedness 66.6, independence 70, 4. Thus the level of self-determination shows at a high level, namely integrated regulation. Recommendations are aimed at the guidance and counseling study program, BPPKK and students.
