Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang senantiasa berubah didalam dunia pendidikan telah banyak mengubah cara mengajar guru menjadi lebih modern. Akan tetapi berdasarkan observasi awal pada kelas V di SDN Bojong masih ada guru yang mengajar hanya dengan ceramah, bahkan tanpa adanya tanya jawab dengan siswa, sehingga membuat siswa bosan, mengantuk dan mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut perlu adanya tindakan, salah satunya yaitu menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match. Penelitian dilaksanakan dikelas V SDN Bojong Menteng dengan jumlah 22 siswa, 7 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a match pada pembelajaran IPS melalui materi jenis-jenis usaha dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas berdasarkan model dari Kemmis dan MC Tagart yang disetiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Serta teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas mengajar guru 84% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 96% pada siklus II dan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan persentase 59,84% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 86,86%, serta terjadi peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, pada awal pra siklus hanya 31,81%, setelah dilakukannya tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 72,72% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 90,90%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaraan IPS pada materi jenis-jenis usaha dikelas V SDN Bojong Menteng. The ever-changing times in the world of education have changed the way teachers teach to be more modern. However, based on initial observations in class V at SDN Bojong there are still teachers who teach only with lectures, even without asking questions with students, so that it makes students bored, sleepy and affects student learning outcomes. This requires action, one of which is applying the make a match type of cooperative learning model. The research was conducted in class V SDN Bojong Menteng with a total of 22 students, 7 male students and 15 female students, with the aim of knowing how to apply the make a match type of cooperative learning model in social studies learning through material types of business in the hope of increasing learning outcomes student. This study uses a qualitative approach with classroom action research methods based on the model from Kemmis and MC Tagart, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. As well as data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The results of this study were an increase in teacher teaching activity 84% in cycle I increased to 96% in cycle II and an increase in student learning activity in cycle I with a percentage of 59.84% increased in cycle II to 86.86%, and an increase in student learning outcomes, at the beginning of the pre-cycle only 31.81%, after the action in cycle I increased to 72.72% and increased again in cycle II to 90.90%. Thus, the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning about the material types of businesses in class V SDN Bojong Menteng.
