Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perilaku menjaga dan memelihara lingkungan dari siswa dikarenakan belum adanya modul yang mengembangkan zero waste. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar PLH tentang materi pencemaran lingkungan dengan berbasis contextual teaching and learning dengan konsep zero waste untuk meningkatkan ekoliterasi dikelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) dan pengembangan adalah metode yang memiliki fokus pada, perencanaan, produksi dan evaluasi yang disingkat PPE. Pendekatan ini juga berpusat pada desain dan pengembangan produk dan alat yang dikembangkan oleh Richey & Klein. Pengembangan desain modul dilakukan peneliti disusun secara sistematis meliputi komponen cover modul, identitas siswa, kata pengantar, daftar isi, pemetaan kompetensi dasar, tujuan pembelajaran, petunjuk penggunaan modul, isi atau materi modul, latihan soal, lembar kerja siswa, jurnal refleksi, tampilan keberhasilan menyelesaikan modul, dan kunci jawaban. Hasil penelitian validasi ahli dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pengajaran berupa angket dengan presentasi nilai dari ahli materi dengan kategori sangat baik, nilai ahli media dengan kategori sangat baik, dan ahli pengajaran dengan nilai kategori sangat baik. Bahan ajar PLH juga diujicobakan menunjukkan peningkatan hasil pre-test dan post-test dari rata-rata yang cukup signifikan Selain itu, peneliti melakukan uji Ngain dari pretest dan posttest yang sudah dikerjakan oleh siswa, hasil perhitungan rata-rata menunjukkan nilai dengan kategori cukup efektif. Dengan begitu, dapat dikatakan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis CTL dengan konsep zero waste untuk meningkatkan hasil ekoliterasi di sekolah dasar cukup layak digunakan di kelas IV sekolah dasar. This research is motivated by the low behavior of protecting and maintaining the environment from students because there is no module that develops zero waste. Based on this, the researcher aims to develop PLH teaching materials on environmental pollution based on contextual teaching and learning with the concept of zero waste to improve ecoliitation in class IV of elementary schools. The research method used in this study is the Design and Development (D&D) method and development is a method that has a focus on planning, production and evaluation, which is abbreviated as PPE. This approach is also centered on the design and development of products and tools developed by Richey & Klein. The module design development was carried out by the researcher in a systematic manner including module cover components, student identity, preface, table of contents, mapping of basic competencies, learning objectives, instructions for using the module, content or module material, practice questions, student worksheets, reflection journals, display of success complete the module, and the answer key. The results of the expert validation research were carried out by material experts, media experts, and teaching experts in the form of questionnaires with presentations of grades from material experts in the very good category, media expert scores in the very good category, and teaching experts with very good category scores. The PLH teaching materials were also tested showing a significant increase in pre-test and post-test results on average. In addition, the researchers conducted the Ngain test from the pretest and posttest that had been done by students, the average calculation results showed a value in the category of quite effective . That way, it can be said that the development of CTL-based teaching materials with a zero waste concept to improve ecoliteracy results in elementary schools is quite feasible for use in grade IV elementary schools.
