Abstract

Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan pelatihan pengembangan program model ASCA untuk meningkatkan mutu program Bimbingan dan Konseling pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri se-kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods research dengan rancangan pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan purposeful sampling, dalam hal ini yang menjadi partisipan penelitian adalah guru-guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (MGBK) SMP Kota Pontianak. Untuk data kualitatif dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan uji efeektifitas pada data kuantitatif, peneliti menggunakan analisis uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) mutu program Bimbingan dan Konseling di SMP Negeri kota Pontianak dalam keadaan masih rendah atau kurang memadai, baik dalam hal perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi program maupun pendokumentasian sehingga berimbas pada kualitas layanan yang diberikan; (2) Rumusan pelatihan pengembangan program model ASCA telah melalui validasi oleh ahli sehingga layak untuk digunakan, struktur dari pelatihan meliputi rasional, analisis kebutuhan dan masalah, tujuan model, sasaran pelatihan, waktu dan tempat, prosedur pelatihan, kompetensi pelatih, fasilitas, evaluasi dan indikator keberhasilan; (3) Uji coba model pelatihan pengembangan program model ASCA terbukti efektif meningkatkan mutu program Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah, terlihat dengan adanya perubahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi program yang dibuat. Hasil penelitian direkomendasikan kepada Perguruan tinggi, MGBK, Guru BK, ABKIN, dan Peneliti selanjutnya. This study aims to obtain the ASCA model program development training to improve the quality of Guidance and Counseling programs at Junior High Schools (SMP) in Pontianak City. This research used a mixed methods research approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The sample selection in the research used purposeful sampling, in this case the research participants were Guidance and Counseling teachers which is members of the Pontianak City Junior High School Guidance and Counseling Teacher Council (MGBK). For qualitative data, it was analyzed with descriptive qualitative, while the effectiveness test on quantitative data, researchers used Wilcoxon test analysis. The results showed that (1) the quality of the Guidance and Counseling program in public junior high schools in Pontianak City is still low or inadequate, both in terms of planning, implementation, program evaluation and documentation so that it has an impact on the quality of services provided; (2) The formulation of the ASCA model program development training has been validated by experts so that it is feasible to use, the structure of the training includes rationale, needs and problem analysis, model objectives, training objectives, time and place, training procedures, trainer competencies, facilities, evaluation and indikators of success; (3) The trial of the ASCA model program development training model proved to be effective in improving the quality of Guidance and Counseling programs in schools, seen by changes in teacher knowledge and skills in planning, implementing and evaluating the programs made. The results of the research it is suggested that to universities, MGBK, GC teachers, ABKIN, and further researchers.
