Abstract

Regulasi emosi pada remaja tengah banyak terjadi karena adanya hubungan kedekatan dalam pertemanan yang membuat penyesuaian emosional dilingkungan pertemanan pada teman sebayanya (peer attachment). dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan suatu hubungan anrara peer attachment dengan regulasi emosi pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh meliputi seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMK Nur Insani Kab. Pandeglang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 66 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen peer attachment yang diadaptasi dari inventory of parents and peer attachment-revised dan instrumen regulasi emosi yang diadopsi dari emotions regulation question yang dikembangkan. Skala yang digunakan adalah Skala Likert dan Skala Gutman yang menghasilkan data ordinal dan data interval sehingga dilakukan perubahan pada data ordinal ke data interval tersebih dahulu. Sehingga analisis korelasi dilakukan menggunakan korelasional product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum peer attachment peserta didik cenderung berada pada kategori rendah dan regulasi emosi peserta didik cenderung berada dikategori tinggi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan analisis korelasional product moment pearson menunjukkan angka koefisien sebesar 0.180 yang artinya tingkat kekuatan hubungan (korelasi) positif yang tidak signifikan antara variabel peer attachment dengan regulasi emosi adalah sebesar 0.180 atau hubungan sangat rendah. penelitian ini merekomendasikan layanan responsif berupa bimbingan pribadi-sosial dalam upaya meningatkan kualitas peer attachment dan me-regulasi emosi peserta didik. Emotional regulation in adolescents occurs a lot because of close relationships in friendships that make emotional adjustments in the friendship environment to their peers (peer attachment). in this study aims to describe a relationship between peer attachment with emotion regulation in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. The sample used is a saturated sample covering all class X students of SMK Nur Insani Kab. Pandeglang for the 2022/2023 academic year, with a total of 66 students. The data collection technique in this study used a peer attachment instrument adapted from the inventory of parents and peer attachment-revised and an emotion regulation instrument adopted from the emotions regulation question developed. The scale used is the Likert Scale and Gutman Scale which produce ordinal data and interval data so that changes are made to the ordinal data to the interval data first. So that the correlation analysis was carried out using Pearson's product moment correlation. The results showed that in general, students' peer attachment tends to be in the low category and students' emotional regulation tends to be in the high category. The results of testing the hypothesis with Pearson's product moment correlation analysis showed a coefficient of 0.180, which means that the strength of the positive correlation (correlation) that was not significant between peer attachment and emotion regulation was 0.180 or a very low relationship. This study recommends responsive services in the form of personal-social guidance in an effort to improve the quality of peer attachment and regulate students' emotions.
