Abstract

Ulfa Dwiyanti (1906525). Pengembangan media Augmented Reality (AR) Berbasis Android Pada Materi Atom Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran yang berbantuan dengan teknologi akan memudahkan segala pihak dalam proses belajar mengajar baik guru maupun siswa, terlebih pada masa pandemik terdapat wabah Corona Viruses Diseases (COVID-9), yang dimana membuat pembelajaran menjadi terbatas sehingga membuat rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa akan sesuatu yang bersifat abstrak. Oleh karena itu, dibuatlah penilitian yang bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru dan siswa saat ini yaitu dengan mengembangkan media yang berintegrasi dengan teknologi dan berbasis Android yaitu “Augmented Reality Atom (AuRa)” dalam Pembelajaran IPA. Media “AuRa” diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep. Model pengembangan ADDIE digunakan dalam mengembangkan media “AuRa”. Penelitian ini melibatkan 40 siswa kelas IX dikelas Eksperimen dan 35 Siswa kelas IX dikelas dikelas Kontrol. Penelitian menggunakan desain pembelajaran Control group pretest posttes desain dalam implementasi di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa: (1) media “AuRa” dikembangkan berbasis android menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) (2) Uji kualitas dan kelayakan media AurA terkategori baik dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran (3) memiliki karaketristik: dapat menggabungkan benda maya dua dimenasi atau tiga dimeni lalu memproyeksikan benda maya tersebut dalam waktu nyata, bersifat interaktif, dapat ditampilkam secara bentuk 3D. (4) Peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan mobile media “AuRa” dengan N-Gain sebesar 0.44 dengan kategori sedang (5) Uji effect size diperoleh hasil bahwa media “AuRa” efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dibandingkan dengan buku ajar standar yang digunakan di sekolah. Development of Android based Augmented Reality (Ar) Media on Atom Materials to Improve Student's Concept Understanding Abstract Technology-integrated learning will make it easier for the teaching and learning process, both teachers and students, especially during the pandemic there was an outbreak of Corona Virus Diseases (COVID-9), which limit the learning process, resulting in low understanding of abstract concepts. . Therefore, Research is needed to answer the problems faced by teachers and students today, which could be done by developing media that integrates technology and is based on Android, namely "Augmented Reality Atom (Aura)" in Science Learning. Media "Aura" is expected to increase understanding of the concept. The ADDIE development model was used in developing the "AuRa" media. This research involved 40 students of grade IX in the Experiment class and 35 students of grade IX in the Control class. The study used the control group pretest posttest learning design in implementation in class. Based on the results of data analysis, it reads that: (1) the "AuRa" media was developed based on Android using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) (2) The quality and feasibility test of AurA media is categorized as good and suitable for use as a learning medium (3) This media has characteristics: can combine two-dimensional or three-dimensional virtual objects and then project these virtual objects in real time, are interactive, can be displayed in 3D. (4) Increased understanding of concepts after using mobile media "AuRa" with an N-Gain of 0.44 in the medium category (5) The effect size test obtained the result that "AuRa" media was effective in increasing students' understanding of concepts compared to standard textbooks used in schools.
