Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tidak sesuainya gambaran pendidikan yang diharapkan pesantren dengan realita santri yang terjadi di lapangan, dimana tidak semua santri memiliki kecerdasan spiritual yang baik, nilai personal yang positif dan tingginya perilaku altruistik terhadap orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kecerdasan spiritual dan nilai personal dengan perilaku altruistik santri di pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan partisipan santri usia remaja di salah satu pondok pesantren di Majalengka. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 121 santri yang terdiri dari siswa jenjang SMP, SMA dan SMK dengan rentang usia 13-19 tahun. Penelitian ini terdapat tiga variabel yaitu kecerdasan spiritual dan nilai personal sebagai variabel independen dan perilaku altruistik sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan spiritual dan nilai personal dengan perilaku altruistik santri dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,803 yang berarti bahwa terdapat korelasi yang kuat karena berada pada rentang 0,61-0,80, artinya semakin tinggi variabel kecerdasan spiritual dan nilai personal santri maka perilaku altruistik yang ditampilkan akan semakin baik. Selain itu, pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual dan nilai personal terhadap perilaku altruistik berada pada persentase sebesar 64,5%, sisanya diperkirakan masih ada pengaruh dari variabel lain sebesar 35,5% baik dari faktor internal maupun eksternal. The background of this research is the discrepancy between the description of education expected by Islamic boarding schools and the reality of santri who occur in the field, where not all students have good spiritual intelligence, positive personal values and high altruistic behavior towards others. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between spiritual intelligence and personal values with the altruistic behavior of santri in Islamic boarding schools. This research used correlational design and qualitative method by involving teenagers santri in one of the boarding scool in Majalengka. The participant in this research is 121 santri which include of student of junior high school, senior high school and vocational high school with an age range of 13-19 years. This research has three variables, namely spiritual intelligence and personal values as independent variables and altruistic behavior as the dependent variable. The research found that there are a positive and significant correlation between spiritual intelligence and personal values with the altruistic behavior of santri with a correlation coefficient of 0,803 which means that there is a strong correlation because it is in the range of 0.61-0.80, meaning that the higher the spiritual intelligence and the personal value of the santri, the altruistic behavior shown will be better. In addition, the influence of spiritual intelligence and personal values on altruistic behavior is at a percentage of 64,5%, the rest is estimated to be influenced by other variables of 35,5% both from internal and external factors.
