Abstract
Self-Efficacy merupakan keyakinan yang dimiliki individu terhadap kemampuan diri dan telah terbukti memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar pada sejumlah hasil akademik, seperti minat individu, kinerja tugas individu, dan jumlah usaha serta ketekunan yang bersedia individu berikan ketika menghadapi suatu hambatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui gambaran umum self-efficacy mahasiswa baru di FIP UPI Angkatan 2022 Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 dan menyusun rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan Teknik Modeling untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy mahasiswa baru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian desktiptif, desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah survey. Populasi penelitian ialah mahasiswa baru Program Studi PGSD, Bimbingan dan Konseling, Pendidikan Masyarakat, PGPAUD, Pendidikan Khusus, Administrasi Pendidikan, Psikologi, Perpustakaan dan Informasi, dan Teknologi Pendidikan Angkatan 2022 di FIP UPI Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 238 mahasiswa baru melalui teknik nonprobability sampling dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) gambaran self-efficacy mahasiswa baru di FIP UPI Angkatan 2022 Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 dalam beradaptasi pada proses pembelajaran secara umum berada pada kategori tinggi; 2) rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok Teknik Modeling untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy yang terdiri dari komponen: rasional, deskripsi kebutuhan, tujuan, rencana kegiatan (action plan), dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Layanan (RPL) berdasarkan hasil penimbangan (judgment) telah memadai. Layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan Teknik Modeling harus diuji coba terlebih dahulu berdasarkan panduan Rencana Pelaksanaan Layanan (RPL) yang telah dibuat untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penggunaan Teknik Modeling dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy mahasiswa.
Self-Efficacy is the belief that individuals have in their own abilities and has been shown to have a considerable influence on several academic outcomes, such as individual interest, individual task performance, and the amount of effort and persistence that individuals are willing to give when facing an obstacle. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of self-efficacy of new college students at FIP UPI Class of 2022 in the 2022/2023 Academic Year and to design a group guidance service plan using the Modeling Technique to increase the self-efficacy of new college students. The research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods, and the design used in this research is a survey. The research population was new college students of the PGSD Study Program, Guidance and Counseling, Community Education, PGPAUD, Special Education, Educational Administration, Psychology, Library and Information, and Educational Technology Class of 2022 at FIP UPI in 2022/2023 Academic Year with a research sample of 238 new college students through nonprobability sampling technique by taking samples using convenience sampling. The results showed: 1) the self-efficacy description of new college students at FIP UPI Class of 2022 in the 2022/2023 Academic Year in adapting to the learning process is generally in the high category; 2) the design of the Modeling Technique group guidance service to increase self-efficacy which consists of components: rationale, description of needs, objectives, action plan, and Service Implementation Plan (RPL) based on the results of the assessment (judgment) is adequate. Group guidance services with Modeling Techniques must be tested first based on the Service Implementation Plan (RPL) guidelines that have been made to determine the level of effectiveness of using Modeling Techniques in increasing college student self-efficacy.
