Abstract
Penelitian ini didasari oleh keterbatasan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal untuk mengatasi kondisi perilaku karakter siswa yang mengalami berbagai tantangan salah satunya yaitu menurunnya sikap gotong royong siswa di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran pendidikan karakter berbasis upacara rambu solo’ (PURSO) sebagai penguatan sikap gotong royong siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang meliputi: 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) pengembangan model pembelajaran, dan 3) uji coba model. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sekolah dasar se kecamatan Sangalla Utara Kabupaten Tana Toraja yang berjumlah sembilan sekolah dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa dan guru kelas IV di tiga sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) pengembangan model pembelajaran PURSO mengacu pada salah satu nilai upacara rambu solo’ yaitu situnduan (gotong royong) dan sintaks model pembelajaran mengacu pada tahapan upacara rambu solo’ yaitu sirampun, manglelleng, melantang, manombon, ma’pasonglo’, dan mantunu, 2) penerapan model pembelajaran PURSO dilakukan di tiga sekolah dasar dengan penerapan berada pada kategori baik dan sangat baik, 3) model pembelajaran PURSO efektif digunakan sebagai penguatan sikap gotong royong siswa sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Karakter, Rambu Solo’, Gotong Royong This research is based on the limitations of local culture-based contextual learning models to overcome the behavioral conditions of students' characters experience various challenges, one of which is the decline in the attitude of their mutual cooperation in elementary schools. The research aimed to produce a character educational learning model based on the rambu solo’ ceremony (PURSO) as a reinforcement of the mutual cooperation attitude of elementary school students. This study uses Research and Development which includes: 1) a preliminary study, 2) the development of learning models, and 3) model trials. The population in this study was public elementary schools in the North Sangalla sub-district, Tana Toraja Regency, which totaled nine schools and the research sample was fourth-grade students and teachers in three elementary schools. The results of this study indicate that; 1) the development of the PURSO learning model refers to one of the values of the rambu solo’ ceremony, namely situnduan (mutual cooperation) and the learning model syntax of the refers to stages of rambu solo’ ceremony, namely; sirampun, manglelleng, melantang, manombon, ma'pasonglo', and mantunu, 2) the application of the PURSO learning model was carried out in three elementary schools with the implementation was in good and very good categories, 3) the PURSO learning model was effectively used to strengthen the elementary school students’ mutual cooperation attitude.
