Abstract

PPKn dapat menumbuhkan sikap kewarganegaraan bagi penerus bangasa dan penting untuk diajarakan di SD. Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi di SDN 1 Wangkelang yaitu memperoleh data bahwa masih minimnya minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran PPKn, karena pada saat proses pembelajaran guru hanya menggunakan model yang monoton sehingga siswa pun menjadi kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal tersebut berdampak juga terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang tergolong masih rendah. Peneliti berkolaborasi bersama guru kelas dalam memperbaiki kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Peneliti bersama guru kelas menerapkan model pembelajaran gallery walk pada mata pelajaran PPKn dengan materi keberagaman sosial budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model gallery walk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn, dibuktikan dengan adanya perubahan pada aktivitas guru dan siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung setiap siklusnya yang selalu meningkat. Kemudian, hasil belajar siswa juga meningkat. Persentase aktivitas guru pada siklus I yaitu 78%, siklus II 88,33%, dan pada siklus III yaitu 93,33%. Persentase aktivitas siswa pada pada siklus I yaitu 75%, siklus II menjadi 87,5%, dan pada siklus III yaitu 90,27%. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada saat pra siklus yaitu 28%, siklus I 56%, siklus II 74% dan pada siklus III lebih meningkat dengan kategori sangat baik yaitu 86%. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, maka tujuan peneliti menerapkan model gallery walk dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn telah terbukti berhasil. However, based on the results of observations at SDN 1 Wangkelang, namely obtaining data that there is still a lack of student interest in Civics subjects, because during the learning process the teacher only uses a monotonous model so that students become less active in participating in learning. This also has an impact on student learning outcomes which are still relatively low. Researchers collaborate with class teachers in improving learning activities in class. Researchers together with class teachers apply the gallery walk learning model to Civics subjects with socio-cultural diversity material. This study uses the class action research (PTK) method proposed by Kemmis and Taggart. This classroom action research method was carried out in 3 cycles. The results of this study indicate that the gallery walk model can improve student learning outcomes in Civics subjects, as evidenced by changes in teacher and student activities during the learning process taking place each cycle which always increases. Then, student learning outcomes also increase. The percentage of teacher activity in cycle I was 78%, cycle II was 88.33%, and cycle III was 93.33%. The percentage of student activity in cycle I was 75%, cycle II became 87.5%, and cycle III was 90.27%. The percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes during the pre-cycle was 28%, the first cycle was 56%, the second cycle was 74% and in the third cycle it was increased with a very good category, namely 86%. Based on the data obtained, the researcher's goal of applying the gallery walk model in improving student learning outcomes in Civics subjects has proven successful.
