Abstract
Perencanaan karier yang diberikan sekolah kepada siswa yaitu agar siswa memperoleh pemahaman dunia pendidikan dan dunia kerja serta mengetahui keinginannya dan mengenal dirinya lebih dalam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun program perencanaan karier bagi siswa tunanetra kelas XII. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang ditemui di lapangan bahwa pelaksanaan program perencanaan karier bagi siswa tunanetra belum terlaksana secara optimal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan bentuk studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perencanaan karier siswa tunanetra kelas XII belum optimal. Hal itu disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang pentingnya perencanaan karier bagi siswa di sekolah sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya di lapangan tidak disertai dengan prosedur program bimbingan yang sesuai dan dalam merumuskan program perencanaan karier belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa tunanetra kelas XII. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merekomendasikan program perencanaan karier bagi siswa tunanetra kelas XII di SLB Negeri A Pajajaran Kota Bandung. Kata Kunci : Program Perencanaan, Tunanetra, Karier The potential development of blind people is different from the potential development of children in general. Therefore, to develop the potential of blind people, cooperation and appropriate educational services are needed. One of the special services carried out to develop the potential of the blind is to provide career guidance services. The purpose of this research is to develop a career planning program for class XII blind students. This research is motivated by the problems encountered in the field that the implementation of the career planning program has not been carried out optimally. This is due to a lack of understanding of the importance of career planning for students in schools so that the implementation in the field is not accompanied by the correct guidance program procedures. The approach used in this research is qualitative in the form of case studies. Data collection techniques in this study used interview and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the school has not formulated a career planning program for class XII blind students. Therefore, the researcher recommends a career planning program for class XII blind students. Keywords : Planning Program, Visual Impairment, Careers
