Abstract

Tak dapat dipungkiri teknologi telah mengubah sedikitnya mengenai tatanan kehidupan manusia dalam berbagai aspek dan secara tidak sadar juga memicu inovasi dalam berpikir dan bertindak. Implikasi dari era komputerisasi yang semakin masif ini adalah diharuskan sedari dini untuk memiliki kompetensi yang dapat membantu untuk menghadapi tuntutan abad ke-21. Computational thinking merupakan salah satu upaya dalam menanamkan keterampilan abad ke-21 kepada generasi muda. Pada Februari 2022 Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Anwar Makarim telah meluncurkan kurikulum merdeka, yang dalam penerapannya mengintegrasikan computational thinking pada beberapa mata pelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SDN 3 Babakan selaku tempat penelitian, guru masih kebingungan menentukan cara yang menarik untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan konsep computational thinking. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang game edukasi PUKA PIKO sebagai media pembelajaran dengan menerapkan konsep computational thinking untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahapan yaitu concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Dari penelitian dihasilkan media game edukasi PUKA PIKO yang telah diuji melalui alpha test dan beta test. Dari hasil alpha test dengan ahli media dan ahli materi, game edukasi PUKA PIKO mendapatkan hasil uji media sebesar 92,28% dan uji materi sebesar 91,25%, serta dari hasil beta test dengan siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Babakan sebanyak 40 orang, didapatkan skor 97,91% yang berarti media sudah sangat layak digunakan untuk siswa sekolah dasar. ----- Undoubtedly, technology has changed at least the order of human life in various aspects and unconsciously has also triggered innovation in thinking and acting. This increasingly massive computerized era implies that it is required from an early age to have competencies that can help to face the demands of the 21st century. Computational Thinking is one of the efforts to impart 21st-century skills to the younger generation. In February 2022, the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Anwar Makarim launched an independent curriculum, which in its implementation, integrates computational thinking in several subjects. Based on the results of observations at SDN 3 Babakan as the research site, teachers are still confused about determining an interesting way to carry out learning by applying the concept of computational thinking. This study aims to design the educational game of PUKA PIKO computational thinking for elementary school students. This research was conducted using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development method, which consisted of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. From the results of the alpha test with media experts and material experts, game PUKA PIKO educational get a media test result of 92,24% and a material test of 91.25%, and from the results of the beta test with Grade IV students at SDN 3 Babakan as many as 40 people, a score of 97.91% is obtained, which means that the media can be categorized as very good and suitable for use by elementary school students.
