Abstract

Pada abad ke-21 ini, setiap siswa diharapkan memiliki kemampuan membaca dan menulis atau biasa disebut kegiatan literasi. Literasi sangat penting diterapkan khususnya di sekolah sebagai tempat yang memiliki tujuan utama generasi bangsa dalam memperoleh pendidikan dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikirnya serta mengungkapkan emosi peserta didik. Skripsi ini membahas tentang Pengembangan Buku Harian Berbasis Literasi Sastra Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Kreatif Siswa SD. Untuk melatih keterampilan menulis perlu adanya dorongan serta motivasi contohnya dengan membuat sebuah karya sastra. Agar kegiatan menulis menjadi lebih berkesan dan menarik, maka diperlukan upaya yang lebih baik dari guru dalam membuat dan menerapkan strategi maupun media yang sesuai dengan kompetensinya. Media buku harian ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Design and Development (DnD) dengan model yang dikembangkan Richey dan Klein. Model yang dikembangkan ini memiliki tiga tahap, diantaranya tahap perencanaan (planning), produksi (production), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur, validasi ahli dan evaluasi angket siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku harian layak digunakan untuk menunjang kegiatan literasi di sekolah. Hasil penelitian diperkuat dengan hasil validasi ahli serta hasil wawancara siswa setelah menelaah buku harian ini. Berdasarkan penilaian dari para ahli, buku harian ini memperoleh skor penilaian sebesar 89,34% masuk pada kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan tersebut dapat dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Literacy is very important to be applied, especially in schools as a place that has the main goal of the nation's generation in obtaining education and developing thinking skills and expressing the emotions of students. This thesis discusses the Development of Literary Literacy-Based Diary in Order to Improve Creative Writing Ability of Elementary School Students. To practice writing skills, it is necessary to have encouragement and motivation, for example by making a literary work. In order for writing activities to be more memorable and interesting, better efforts from teachers are needed in making and implementing strategies and media that are in accordance with their competencies. This diary was developed using the Design and Development (DnD) method with the model developed by Richey and Klein. The developed model has three stages, including planning, production, and evaluation stages. Participants in this study consisted of media experts, material experts and linguists. Data collection techniques used are literature study, expert validation and evaluation of student questionnaires. The results showed that diaries were appropriate to be used to support literacy activities in schools. The results of the study were strengthened by the results of expert validation and the results of student interviews after reviewing this diary. Based on the assessment of the experts, this diary obtained an assessment score of 89.34% in the very good category. Thus it can be concluded that the developed media can be declared valid and can be used for elementary school students. Keywords: Diary, Literary Literacy, Creative Writing
