Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai permasalahan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi serta perbedaan hasil penelitian (research gap) yang dilakukan peneliti-peneliti terdahulu mengenai self-confidence, hasil belajar mahasiswa, dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah self-confidence berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa yang dimediasi oleh motivasi belajar. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 663 mahasiswa FPEB UPI Angkatan 2019. Dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 249 mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey explanatory dan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis regresi berganda dengan variabel mediasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) self-confidence tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa FPEB UPI angkatan 2019 sehingga setiap mahasiswa memiliki self-confidence yang berbeda-beda, (2) motivasi belajar tidak memediasi self-confidence terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa FPEB UPI angkatan 2019 sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai landasan berpijak untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Self-Confidence, Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa, Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), Pembelajaran Daring. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by problems regarding educational problems in higher education and differences in research results (research gaps) conducted by about self-confidence, learning outcomes, learning motivation. This study is aimed at investigate whether self-confidence have an effect on learning outcomes mediate by learning motivation. The Participants of this study werestudents of FPEB in academic year of 2019 with total 663. By using the technique of random sampling obtained a sample with total 249 students. The method used in this study was survey explanatory and data analysis used multiple regression analysis with mediate variabel. The result of this study showed that (1) self-confidence no effect to learning outcomes FPEB UPI angkatan 2019 so that each student has different self-confidence, (2) learning motivation is no mediate to self-confidence influence to learning outcomes FPEB UPI angkatan 2019 so that it can be used as a basis for further research.
