Abstract
Marriage is a very important event, because it involves the values of human life, as well as a sacred or sacred duty for mankind to continue to develop good and useful offspring for the wider community. In the Sundanese traditional wedding ceremony, there are noble values that have been formed by previous parents and passed down from generation to generation, which in the procession of the wedding ceremony there are several stages, namely the question of asking, siram (siraman), the contract, sungkeman and Panggih. face to face). however, along with the times, the wedding ceremony at this time has begun to be influenced by today's culture so that many young people do not understand the noble values contained therein. So it is feared that traditional ceremonies that have noble values are gradually eroded by foreign cultures that are not in accordance with Indonesian culture. From the description above, the idea emerged to create a drawing using watercolor media with the theme of a traditional Sundanese wedding ceremony. The formulation of the problem contained in this creation thesis is to develop ideas in making drawings with watercolor media and visualizing the drawings. The media used is watercolor on paper and consists of six works. The visualization of the idea of a traditional Sundanese wedding ceremony is made in such a way by using the rules of visual elements and principles, so that the idea produces a correlation between the physical form of the drawing and the concept of the traditional Sundanese wedding ceremony itself. The author hopes that this work can be an inspiration and useful for anyone who appreciates and reads it. This drawing is also expected not only to be an alternative media material for art learning, but also to be able to convey a moral message of awareness to the wider community about the importance of noble values contained in the process of traditional Sundanese wedding ceremonies.
