Abstract
ABSTRACT Application of the NHT Type Cooperative Learning Model to improve students' understanding of learning concepts in ruminant animal digestion. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1. Can the application of the NHT Cooperative Learning Model Improve Students' Understanding of Learning Concepts in Science Subjects about the digestion of ruminants in Class V SDN Tanjung Biru? 2. How is the application of the NHT Cooperative Learning Model in improving Students' Understanding of Learning Concepts in Science Subjects about the digestion of ruminants in Class V SDN Tanjung Biru? This study uses a classroom action research design. Techniques used in collecting data include observation, interviews, tests, documentation, and field notes. The data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model on the digestive material of ruminants increased as follows: 1) the results of the active observation of students in the first 60 % cycle increased to 75% in the second cycle. 2) the results of the observation of student cooperation in the first cycle of 60% increased to 80% in the second cycle. 3) the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle are 60% with an average score of 68.25 increasing to 85% with an average value of 84.25 in the second cycle in good criteria. Keywords: NHT, SDN Tanjung Biru, Understanding Student Learning Concept ----- ABSTRAK Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe NHT Untuk Meningkatkan pemahaman konsep belajar siswa dalam materi pencernaan hewan ruminansia. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1. Apakah Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT dapat Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA tentang pencernaan hewan ruminansia di Kelas V SDN Tanjung Biru? 2.Bagaimana Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT dalam meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA tentang pencernaan hewan ruminansia di Kelas V SDN Tanjung Biru? Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan kelas. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data antara lain observasi, wawancara, tes, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Analis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) pada materi pencernaan hewan ruminansia mengalami peningkatan sebagai berikut: 1) hasil observasi keaktifan peserta didik siklus I sebesar 60% meningkat menjadi 75% pada siklus II. 2) hasil observasi kerjasama peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 60% meningkat menjadi 80% pada siklus II. 3) hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 60% dengan nilai rata-rata 68,25 meningkat menjadi 85% dengan nilai rata-rata 84,25 siklus II berada pada kriteria baik.
