Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh perkembangan di Abad 21 yang mengharuskan siswa memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter. Dalam pendidikan karakter saat ini sedang mengalami krisis karakter, dimana bermunculan kasus yang menunjukkan mulai lunturnya pendidikan karakter bangsa. Menurut data KPAI pada tahun 2021 terjadi tindakan kriminal yang meningkat, contohnya seperti pemerkosaan 285 kasus, tawuran 14 kasus, anak berhadapan dengan hukum sebagai pelaku sebanyak 126 kasus. Lalu berdasarkan data BNN dari 87 juta anak di indonesia, 5,9 juta anak merupakan pecandu narkoba. Maka dari itu, siswa harus memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter yang dimiliki dirinya. Pendidikan di indonesia menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dan mempunyai ciri khas yakni buku tematik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis muatan nilai utama karakter pada konten IPS dalam buku tema siswa pahlawanku kelas IV, (2) Persebaran nilai utama karakter dalam tema pahlawanku pada konten IPS dalam kelas IV. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Sumber data menggunakan Buku Tematik Siswa Kelas Pahlawanku kelas IV pada konten IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 1) Buku tematik siswa pahlawanku Kelas IV pada konten IPS sudah termuat lima nilai utama karakter yaitu religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas. 2) Muatan nilai utama karakter sudah tersebar dalam tema pahlawanku disetiap pembelajaran. -------- The background of this research is the development of the 21st century which requires students to strengthen character values. Character education is currently experiencing a character crisis, where there are cases showing the decline of the nation's character education. According to KPAI data, in 2021 there will be an increase in criminal acts, for example 285 rape cases, 14 brawl cases, 126 cases of children dealing with the law as perpetrators. Then based on BNN data from 87 million children in Indonesia, 5.9 million children are drug addicts. Therefore, students must strengthen their character values. Education in Indonesia uses the 2013 curriculum and has the characteristics of thematic books. This study aims to For (1) analyzing the main value of the character of the character in the IPS content in the IV IV Pahlawan Student Theme Book, (2) Distribution of the main values of the characters in my hero themes in the IPS content in class IV. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with the content analysis method. Data sources use the thematic books of my heroes class IV in IPS content. Data collection techniques using literature studies and content analysis. The results stated that 1) Thematic Books of IV Pahlawanku Students in Social Sciences Content have been contained in five main characters, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. 2) The charge of the main value of the character has spread in the theme of my hero in every learning.
