Abstract
ABSTRAK ANALISIS STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRACTICE (DAP) TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI SEKOLAH DASAR Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS. Terdapat temuan berupa minat belajar peserta didik yang masih rendah ketika menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional di Sekolah Dasar. Strategi Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang mengutamakan kenyamanan dan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini pembelajaran yang digunakan harus menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan perkembangan individu yang berbeda-beda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi kelas V di SD Laboratorium UPI Kampus Tasikmalaya. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas V SD Laboratorium UPI Kampus Tasikmalaya sebanyak 26 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes isian singkat berupa pernyataan dan menggunakan acuan Skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan bantuan IBM SPSS 25.0. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) pada pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar dimana peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik meningkat sejumlah 14% dari sebelum menggunakan perlakuan atau treatment. Hal tersebut juga diperkuat dengan hasil wawancara terhadap peserta didik yang memperkuat hasil penggunaan strategi Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) berpengaruh pada minat belajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), Minat Belajar ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRACTICE (DAP) STRATEGY ON STUDENTS' LEARNING INTEREST IN SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING The purpose of this study is to ascertain how and why the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) learning technique influence the students' interest in learning social subjects. Research shows that while applying conventional teaching techniques in elementary schools, student interest in learning is also still low. The Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) learning technique places an emphasis on students' ease and comprehension of learning activities. In this situation, the learning process must adjust to the traits and stages of growth of various people. At the UPI Laboratory Elementary School, Tasikmalaya Campus, a class V population was used in a quasi-experimental study. Purposive sampling was used to choose the research sample, which included up to 26 students from the fifth grade at the SD Laboratorium UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. The research tool utilized is a brief statement-based test with five possible answers and a reference Likert scale. strategies for data analysis with IBM SPSS 25.0. The study's test findings showed that, on average (mean), student interest in learning had increased by 14% before the treatment. This leads to the conclusion that social studies are learned through application. When used in elementary schools, the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) technique is really successful.
