    Abstract

    ABSTRAK
    Skripsi ini berjudul “Perkembangan Pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Babakan
    Ciwaringin Cirebon 2010-2020”. Pesantren Babakan telah menjadi salah satu
    pusat studi untuk mempelajari ilmu agama Islam bagi masyarakat di wilayah
    Cirebon dan sekitarnya, pada setiap periodenya pesantren ini terus mengalami
    perkembangan yang signifikan, yang awalnya hanya terdiri dari satu
    pondok/asrama, hingga kini berkembang menjadi sekitar 70 an pondok dan dihuni
    oleh sekitar 10.000 an santri. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis
    perkembangan pendidikan di Pesantren Babakan tahun 2010-2020, yaitu dari segi
    perkembangan pendidikan formal dan pendidikan non formalnya. Alasan penulis
    mengkajinya adalah karena ketertarikan penulis dengan keunikan Pesantren
    Babakan dalam beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman dan menjaga eksistensinya.
    Skripsi ini menggunakan metode historis dengan tahapan heuristik, kritik sumber,
    interpretasi dan historiografi, serta menggunakan teknik studi pustaka dan
    wawancara sebagai teknik pengumpulan datanya. Hasil dari penelitian skripsi ini
    menemukan beberapa temuan seperti profil, kondisi ob latar belakang pesantren
    sejarah Pesantren Babakan. Selanjutnya juga ditemukan bentuk pendidikan yang
    bermacam-macam di pondok pesantren ini, yang dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu
    pendidikan formal dan non formal. Temuan selanjutnya membahas mengenai
    perkembangan pendidikan formal di Pesantren Babakan pada tahun 2010-2020
    meliputi perkembangan sistem, kurikulum dan kelembagaan serta dinamikanya,
    yang diantaranya juga terdapat lembaga lembaga yang khas dari pesantren tersebut
    seperti Madrasah Al-Hikamussalafiyah (MHS), Pendidikan Diniyah Formal
    (PDF) serta Ma‟had Aly. Hal tersebut juga berbanding lurus dengan
    perkembangan pendidikan non formalnya yang meliputi perkembangan asrama
    dan santri serta inovasi baru dalam metode pendidikannya seperti metode Jauzan,
    Al Iffah, Al Miftah dan Qabliyah.

    ABSTRACT
    This thesis is entitled "Educational Development at the Babakan Ciwaringin
    Islamic Boarding School, Cirebon 2010-2020". Since it was founded in 1715 by Ki
    Jatira, the Babakan Islamic Boarding School has become a center of study to
    deepen Islamic religious knowledge, each period this pesantren continues to
    experience significant development, which was originally only one pesantren, until
    it developed into around 70 pesantren and is inhabited by around 10.000 people.
    Students. This thesis aims to analyze the development of education in the Babakan
    Islamic Boarding School in 2010-2020, namely in terms of the development of
    general education and salaf education. The reason the author studies it is because
    of the author's interest in the uniqueness of the Babakan Islamic Boarding School
    in adapting to changing times and maintaining its existence to this day. This thesis
    uses the historical method with heuristic stages, source criticism, interpretation
    and historiography, and uses library research and interview techniques as data
    collection techniques. The results of this thesis research found several findings
    such as the history of the Babakan Islamic boarding school which has been
    established since 1815 and is still continuing today. Furthermore, various forms of
    education were also found in this Islamic boarding school, but in general it can be
    categorized into two, namely formal education and traditional or salaf education.
    The next finding discusses the development of general education at the Babakan
    Islamic Boarding School in 2010-2020 including the development of educational
    institutions and their dynamics. This is also directly proportional to the
    development of salaf education which includes the development of the Madrasah
    Al-Hikamussalafiyah system, Formal Diniyah Education and the existence of
    Ma'had Aly and new innovations in educational methods such as the Jauzan, Al
    Iffah, Al Miftah and Qabliyah methods. Furthermore, the reason why pesantren
    adopts the Ma'had Aly system is as a form of higher education typical of pesantren
    and a forum for the regeneration of celeric prospective.
