Abstract

Kemampuan untuk bersaing dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin berkembang pada saat ini tergantung pada kualitas dari Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Maka perlu ditingkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, salah satunya melalui lembaga pendidikan sekolah menengah kejuruan yang mengutamakan memberikan bekal serta kemampuan pada siswa sehingga siswa siap memasuki dunia kerja pada bidang tertentu. Kesiapan kerja merupakan seluruh kondisi dan kemampuan seseorang untuk dapat melaksanakan suatu pekerjaan. Pada kenyatannya tingkat pengangguran terbuka (TPT) menurut kategori pendidikan tertinggi yang ditamatkan, lulusan SMK menjadi lulusan terbanyak yang menyumbang angka pengangguran pada Februari 2020, Agustus 2020, dan Februari 2021. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja adalah efikasi diri. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran efikasi diri dan kesiapan kerja siswa program keahlian DPIB di SMKN 9 Garut, serta bagaimana pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa program keahlian DPIB di SMKN 9 Garut. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan efikasi diri dan kesiapan kerja siswa program keahlian DPIB di SMKN 9 Garut berada pada kategori cukup tinggi, serta terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif dari efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa program keahlian DPIB di SMKN 9 Garut. Semakin tinggi efikasi diri yang dimiliki siswa maka akan semakin meningkat kesiapan kerja siswa program keahlian DPIB di SMKN 9 Garut. Kata Kunci: Efikasi diri, Kesiapan kerja The ability to compete in the development of science and technology that is increasingly developing depends on the quality of Human Resources (HR). So it is necessary to improve the quality of human resources, one of which is through vocational high school educational institutions that prioritize providing provisions and abilities to students so that students are ready to enter the world of work in spesific fields. Work readiness is the undamaged condition and ability of a person to be able to carry out a job. In fact, according to the open unemployment rate according to the highest education category completed, vocational school graduates are the most graduates who contribute to the unemployment rate in February 2020, August 2020, and February 2021. One of the factors of influencing work readiness is self-efficacy. So this study aims to determine the descriptions of self-efficacy and work readiness of students of the DPIB expertise program at SMKN 9 Garut. The research conducted using a quantitative approach with asosiatif methods. The research shows that the self-efficacy and work readines of students of the DPIB skill program at SMKN 9 Garut are in the fairl high category, and there is a significant and positive influence of self-efficacy on the work readiness of the DPIB students expertise program at SMKN 9 Garut. The higher the self-efficacy of the students, the more work readiness of students in the DPIB expertise program at SMKN 9 Garut will increase. Keywords: Self efficacy, Work readiness
