Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan menulis peserta didik terutama dalam penulisan poster tema pelestarian hewan berbasis brainstorming. Kesulitan peserta didik Sekolah Dasar dalam pembelajaran menulis poster adalah pengembangan imajinasi untuk kemudian diwujudkan melalui poster, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa keterampilan menulis poster peserta didik belum optimal. Keterampilan menulis dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran menulis teks berdasarkan metode brainstorming. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis poster tema pelestarian hewan berbasis brainstorming peserta didik kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian yaitu 37 peserta didik Sekolah Dasar kelas IV di Garut dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik penugasan sebanyak tiga kali. Analisis terhadap tulisan poster ini ditinjau dari tiga aspek, yaitu aspek isi, struktur, dan kebahasaan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah aspek isi, struktur, dan kebahasaan dalam hasil tulisan poster peserta didik secara keseluruhan sudah memenuhi rubrik penilaian yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu melakukan penelitian lanjutan tentang keterampilan menulis ini dikenakan pada subjek yang lebih luas sehingga dapat ditarik generalisasinya. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Menulis, Poster, Brainstorming The research was motivated by the lack of students writing skills, especially in writing brainstorming. The difficulties of elementary school students in learning to write posters is the development of imagination which is then realized through posters, so it can be said that students’ posters writing skills are not optimal. Writing skills are developed through learning to write texts based on the brainstorming method. The purpose of the study was to describe the skills of writing posters on the theme of animal conversation based on brainstorming of fourth grade elementary school students. The research method used is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. The research participants ere 37 elementary school students in grade IV in Garut with different characteristics. Data was collected using assignment technique three times. The analysis of the posters writing is viewed from three aspects, namely the content of aspects, structural, dan linguistic aspect. The research results of student’s poster writing as a whole have met the assessment rubric set by researcher. Recommendations for further research are to carry out further research on writing skills and apply them to a wider subject so that generalizations can be drawn.
