Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fakta fenomena radikalisme yang terjadi di Indonesia. Aksi-aksi kelompok radikal masih terus berlangsung beserta propaganda rekruitmennya. Penelitian ini memandang pendidikan merupakan pendekatan preventif kontra radikalisme, tujuan penelitian ini berupaya memotret atau mengeksplorasi upaya kontra radikalisme yang dilakukan guru PAI di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif terhadap Guru PAI dan 12 Siswa yang digali melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dimana hasilnya dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga temuan esensial (1) Guru PAI memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang urgensi menangkal radikalisme. (2) Upaya menangkal radikalisme dilakukan dalam dua bentuk kondisi yaitu di dalam kelas melalui beberapa program dan penyampaian materi antiradikal dengan model dan metode yang bervariatif, mengontrol bahan ajar dan sumber bacaan. diluar kelas melalui pengembangan pengetahuan dan wawasan anti radikal melalui program ekstrakurikuler, memproteksi ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, penerapan budaya religious dan kegiatan yang berorientasi untuk menerapkan nilai semangat jiwa nasionalisme dan patriotisme kepada siswa. (3) Guru PAI berhasil mengupayakan secara preventif terhadap siswa dalam menerapkan prilaku kontra radikalisme. This research is motivated by the facts of the phenomenon of radicalism that occurs in Indonesia. The actions of radical groups are still ongoing along with their recruitment propaganda. This study views education as a preventive approach to counter radicalism, the purpose of this study seeks to photograph or explore counter-radicalism efforts carried out by PAI teachers in schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to PAI teachers and 12 students who were explored through interviews, observations, and documentation where the results were analyzed through the stages of reduction, display and verification. The results showed three essential findings (1) PAI teachers have a good understanding of the urgency of counteracting radicalism. (2) Efforts to counter radicalism are carried out in two forms, namely in the classroom through several programs and the delivery of anti-radical materials with varied models and methods, controlling teaching materials and reading sources. outside the classroom through the development of anti-radical knowledge and insight through extracurricular programs, protecting religious extracurriculars, the application of religious culture and activities oriented to applying the values of the spirit nationalism and patriotism to students. (3) PAI teachers succeeded in making preventive efforts to students in implementing counter-radicalism behavior.
