Abstract

ABSTRAK Studi pendahuluan yang peneliti lakukan di TK Pertiwi DWP ditemukan permasalahan mengenai guru dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran masih kurang, yang menyebabkan anak mudah bosan dan kekurangan variasi media pembelajaran. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Powerpoint untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan di lapangan. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti mengenai kurangnya media pembelajaran yang memfasilitasi perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Maka peneliti merangcang dan menyusun media pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Peneliti menyusun dan merancang media pembelajaran yakni media Powerpoint dalam bercerita untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan desain Educational Design Research (EDR) karya McKenny dan Reeves. Prosedur pada penelitian EDR memiliki 4 tahap yakni Tahap Analisis dan Eksplorasi (Analysis and Exploration); tahap Desain dan Kontruksi (Design and Contruction); Tahap Evaluasi dan Refleksi (Evaluation and Reflection); dan tahap Kelayakan Produk (Maturing Intervention and Theoritical Understanding). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, dan validasi ahli. Instrumen divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli pedagogik, serta melalui revisi sesuai saran validator. Setelah validasi internal dilakukan, sekalnjutnya dilakukan tahap validasi eksternal yang dilakukan dua kali proses uji coba di TK Pertiwi DWP. Secara umum, produk, produk media Powerpoint untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini telah berhasil dikembangkan dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Powerpoint, Bercerita, Anak usia dini ABSTACT A preliminary study conducted by researchers at DWP Pertiwi Kindergarten found that problems regarding teachers in delivering learning materials were still lacking, which caused children to get bored easily and lacked a variety of learning media. The purpose of this study is to develop Powerpoint learning media to facilitate early childhood language development in accordance with the needs in the field. This study is based on preliminary studies that have been carried out by researchers regarding the lack of learning media that facilitate early childhood language development. So researchers design and compile learning media according to their needs. Researchers compile and design learning media, namely Powerpoint media in storytelling to facilitate early childhood language development. The research method used in this study was the development with the Educational Design Research (EDR) design by McKenny and Reeves. The procedure in EDR research has 4 stages, namely the Analysis and Exploration Stage (Analysis and Exploration); Design and Contruction stage; Evaluation and Reflection Stage; and the Maturing Intervention and Theoritical Understanding stage. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and expert validation. The instrument is validated by media experts, material experts, and pedagogical experts, as well as through revisions as per the validator's advice. After the internal validation was carried out, the external validation stage was carried out, which was carried out twice in the trial process at the DWP Pertiwi Kindergarten. In general, Powerpoint media products to facilitate early childhood language development have been successfully developed and are suitable for use in learning at the Early Childhood Education level.
