    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bermula dari fenomena pembelajaran PAI pada situasi pandemi covid 19 yang lebih mengedepankan aspek kognitif, sehingga aspek afektif menjadi terabaikan. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini menyoroti pada aspek karakter siswa yang nampak belum terbiasa bersikap dan bertindak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor model pembelajaran yang berbasis pada nilai etis religius melalui pembelajaran PAI pada siswa SMP Kota Bandung yang diharapkan mampu mengembangkan karakter keberagamaan siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelompok partisipan yakni SMP Negeri 40 Kota Bandung dan SMP PGII 2 Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) yang disederhakankan pada tiga tahap yakni (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) pengembangan model dan (3) implementasi model. Hasil penelitian ini telah berhasil: (1) mengeksplor gambaran karakter keberagamaan siswa; (2) mengkonstruk realitas model empiris pembelajaran PAI; (3) merancang model hipotetik sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran PAI berdasarkan nilai-nilai etis religius; (4) menguji efektivitas model internalisasi nilai etis religius sebagai produk model pembelajaran PAI. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, model internalisasi nilai etis religius menunjukkan efektivitas yang signifikan dalam mengembangkan karakter keberagamaan siswa. Atas dasar itu, model internalisasi nilai etis religius dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Model Internalisasi, Nilai Etis Religius, PAI, Karakter Keberagamaan This research stems from the phenomenon of PAI learning in the COVID-19 pandemic situation which prioritizes the cognitive aspect, so that the affective aspect is neglected. The focus of the problem in this study focuses on aspects of the character of students who seem not used to behaving and acting in accordance with Islamic values. Based on this, this study aims to explore a learning model based on religious ethical values through PAI learning in Bandung City Junior High School students which is expected to be able to develop students' religious character. This study involved two groups of participants, namely SMP Negeri 40 Bandung City and SMP PGII 2 Bandung City. This research method uses Research and Development (R&D) which is simplified in three stages, namely (1) preliminary study, (2) model development and (3) model implementation. The results of this study have succeeded in: (1) exploring the description of students' religious character; (2) constructing the reality of the empirical model of PAI learning; (3) designing a hypothetical model as an alternative to the PAI learning model based on religious ethical values; (4) examine the effectiveness of the internalization model of religious ethical values as a product of the PAI learning model. Based on the test results, the model of internalizing religious ethical values shows significant effectiveness in developing students' religious character. On that basis, the model of internalizing religious ethical values can be a recommendation to be applied in PAI learning in schools.
