Abstract

Alya Anifa (2022). “Hubungan antara Self-esteem dengan Perilaku Cyberbullying dan Implikasinya Terhadap Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (Studi Korelational terhadap Peserta Didik Kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Garut Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021)” Self esteem merupakan evaluasi yang dibuat individu dan kebiasaan memandang dirinya, terutama sikap menerima, menolak, dan indikasi besarnya kepercayaan individu terhadap kemampuan, keberartian, kesuksesan, dan keberhargaan. Tindakan cyberbullying yang dilakukan remaja dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Salah satu faktor internal yang dapat mempengaruhi remaja melakukan cyberbullying adalah self esteem yang di miliki remaja. Salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya cyberbullying adalah self esteem yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat self esteem, cyberbullying, hubungan antara self esteem dengan perilaku cyberbullying, serta mengetahui implikasi terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat diberikan berdasarkan self esteem. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 210 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Garut Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Self Esteem Inventory (SEI) untuk mengukur self esteem dan data penelitian mengenai cyberbullying diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum self esteem dan cyberbullying berada pada kategori cukup. Hasil pengujian korelasi dengan analisis korelasi spearman’s rho menunjukkan hasil (r=0,270, Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05) yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial untuk mereduksi self esteem. Kata Kunci: Self esteem, cyberbullying, remaja Alya Anifa (2022). The Relationship between Self-Esteem with Cyberbullying Behavior and The Implications for Guidance and Counseling (Correlational Study of XI Grade of SMA Negeri 11 Garut in the 2020/2021 Academic Year) Self-esteem is an evaluation made by individuals and considers themselves, especially attitudes of acceptance, rejection, and an indication of the extent to which individuals believe in their abilities, significance, success, and worth. Cyberbullying by teenagers can be influenced by several factors, both internal with external. One of the internal factors that can influence teenagers to do cyberbullying is self-esteem that is owned by teenagers. One of the factors that cause cyberbullying is low self-esteem. This study aims to describe the level of self-esteem, cyberbullying, the relationship between self-esteem and cyberbullying behavior, and to know the guidance and counseling services that can be provided based on self-esteem. This study uses quantitative approach with the correlational method. The sample was chosen by using a simple random technique sampling with the total of participants were 210 students of eleven grade in SMA Negeri 11 Garut in the 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used in this study was Self Esteem Inventory (SEI) to measure self-esteem and cyberbullying data obtained by distributing research digitally. The results of this study generally indicates self-esteem and cyberbullying are in the sufficient category. The results of correlation testing with Spearman's rho correlation analysis shows (r = 0.270, Sig. = 0.000 <0.05) which means that there is a significant positive relationship. This study recommends personal guidance services to reduce self-esteem. Keyword: Self esteem, cyberbullying, teenager
