Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari permasalahan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas IV-A SDN Serang 11 dimana sebagian besar siswa mendapatkan nilai masih di bawah KKM. Pada kegiatan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dikelas guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah serta tanya jawab, sehingga siswa kurang terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Make a Match. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan selama II siklus penelitian, setiap siklusnya terdapat empat tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, serta refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV-A SDN Serang 11 yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa, terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa, observasi, dokumentasi, serta catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas IV-A mengalami peningkatan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Make a Match dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya presentase hasil belajar siswa selama kegiatan siklus, pra siklus mendapatkan presentase sebesar 57,0%, pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 70,5%, dan pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 78,25%. This research is motivated by the problem of learning Social Sciences for grade IV-A students at SDN Serang 11 where most of the students get scores that are still below the KKM. In the learning process activities carried out in the classroom the teacher still uses the lecture and question and answer method, so that students are less actively involved in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Make A Match Cooperative learning model. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out during the second cycle of the research, each cycle has four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of class IV-A SDN Serang 11 totaling 20 students, consisting of 10 male students and 10 female students. Data collection in this study used test techniques to measure student understanding, observation, documentation, and field notes. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in grades IV-A increased with the application of the Make A Match Cooperative learning model as evidenced by the increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes during the activity cycle, the pre-cycle got a percentage of 57.0%, in the first cycle it increased by 70.5 %, and in the second cycle increased by 78.25%.
