Abstract

ABSTRAK: Metode Cooperative Script merupakan bagian dari metode pembelajaran kooperatif yang mengajarkan bagaimana siswa saling bekerja sama menentukan informasi utuh dari materi yang diberikan guru. Dalam metode ini, peserta didik diarahkan untuk saling bertukar informasi dari ringkasan yang dibuat dalam kelompok kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode Cooperative Script berbantuan media Youtube dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode terlangsung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan menyimak siswa yang disebabkan banyak faktor, baik faktor dari dalam diri peserta didik maupun dari luar peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-posttes control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang siswa kelas XI SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung yang terbagi menjadi 25 orang siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 35 orang siswa di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis didapatkan hasil perhitungan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, dengan syarat Ha diterima adalah Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Maka hasil perhitungan tersebut adalah Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Ha diterima yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil tes akhir menyimak teks prosedur di kelas eksperimen dan hasil tes akhir di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Cooperative Script berbantuan media Youtube efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik menyimak teks prosedur. ABSTRACT: The Cooperative Script method is part of the cooperative learning method that teaches how students work together to determine complete information from the material provided by the teacher. In this method, students are directed to exchange information from summaries made in small groups. This study aims to compare student learning outcomes in the experimental class using the Cooperative Script method assisted by Youtube media with the control class using the direct method. This research is motivated by the lack of students' listening skills caused by many factors, both internal and external factors. This research method is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was 60 students of class XI SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung which was divided into 25 students in the experimental class and 35 students in the control class. Based on the hypothesis test, the results of the calculation of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, provided that Ha accepted is Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Then the result of the calculation is Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. This proves that Ha is accepted, that is, there is a significant difference between the results of the final test of listening to the procedure text in the experimental class and the results of the final test in the control class. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Script method assisted by Youtube media is effectively used in improving the ability of students to listen to procedure texts.
