Abstract

Terdapat dua tempat orang berkebudayaan, yaitu di daerah perdesaan dan perkotaan. Kedua tempat tersebut memiliki lingkungan kebudayaan yang berbeda. Di perdesaan cenderung lebih tradisional sementara di perkotaan sudah tersentuh dengan berbagai modernisasi seperti teknologi, begitupun dengan lingkungan berkesenian salah satunya seni musik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan musikalitas peserta didik sekolah dasar yang tinggal di daerah perdesaan dengan peserta didik sekolah dasar yang tinggal di daerah perkotaan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi komparasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara memberikan soal tes kemampuan musikalitas kepada para peserta didik. Hasil penelitian berupa kemampuan musikalitas peserta didik sekolah dasar di perdesaan dengan nilai rata-rata 89,68. Dari 101 sampel, terdapat sebagian besar memiliki kemampuan cukup musikal. Kemudian hasil kemampuan musikalitas peserta didik di perkotaan memiliki nilai rata-rata 95,10. Sebagian besar kemampuan musikalitasnya terkategori cukup musikal dari pengambilan 102 sampel. Selanjutnya yaitu perbandingan kemampuan musikalitas antara keduanya berdasarkan hasil uji beda menggunakan mann withney diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,047<0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan musikalitas peserta didik sekolah dasar di perdesaan dengan peserta didik sekolah dasar di perkotaan. Selain itu data pendukung lainnya melalui uji anova satu jalur digunakan untuk mengukur perbedaan antar kelompok sekolah dasar. Kemudian diperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05 sehingga hipotesis diterima dan dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat paling tidak dua sekolah yang memiliki nilai rata-rata yang berbeda. The background of research is two places of culture, in rural and urban areas. Both places had different cultural environments. The country tends to be more traditional while in the cities has been touched by modernization, such as technology, and an artistic environment is one of music. The study aims to find out the comparative ability of elementary school students who live in rural areas with those who live in urban areas. The method used is a comparative study. Studies are conducted by providing the student with a test of musical ability. Research has shown that elementary school student performance skills in the country have an average of 89.68. From the 101 samples, there are many of them quite musical abilities. Then the results of the musical abilities of the students in the cities have an average of 95.10. Most of his musical abilities fall into quite a category from 102 samples taken. Further, a comparative ability of musicality between the two based on the different results of mann withney obtained value of 0.047 <0.05 and thus it can be concluded that there is a difference in the musicality of elementary school students in the country with elementary school students in the cities. In addition, load data via one way anova test is used to measure the differences between elementary school groups. The result was that there were more than two schools of varying average grades.
