Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan abad 21 dan penerapan pembelajaran inovatif yang dimana soal tes diberikan kepada peserta didik harus merujuk pada indikator dimensi HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) untuk meningkatkan cara berpikir peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengembangan soal tes yang berbasis pada indikator dimensi HOTS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kesesuaian soal tes bidang studi IPS ditinjau dari dimensi HOTS pada aspek kognitif dalam buku siswa kelas VI SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian analisis isi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian yang digunakan yaitu buku siswa kelas VI SD semester I dan II yang terdiri dari 9 tema terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Edisi Revisi 2018. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa soal tes materi IPS pada buku siswa kelas VI SD semester I dn II sudah memuat indikator HOTS aspek kognitif, walaupun masih banyak soal tes yang belum berbasis HOTS. Soal tes materi IPS kelas VI didominasi oleh indikator menganalisis (C4) dengan jumlah 24 butir soal tes sedangkan soal pada indikator mengevaluasi (C5) dengan jumlah 7 butir soal tes dan indikator mencipta (C6) dengan jumlah 4 butir soal tes yang terdapat didalam buku siswa kelas VI SD semester I dan II. ----- This research is motivated by the development of the 21st century and the application of innovative learning in which the test questions given to students must refer to the HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) to improve students' thinking. Therefore, it is necessary to develop test questions based on the HOTS dimension indicators. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of the social studies field test questions in terms of the HOTS dimensions on the cognitive aspects of the sixth grade elementary school students' books. The method used in this research is content analysis research method with a qualitative approach. The source of the research data used is the book of class VI elementary school semesters I and II which consists of 9 themes published by the Ministry of Education and Culture Revised Edition 2018. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the social studies material test questions in the class VI elementary school semester books I and II already contain HOTS indicators for cognitive aspects, although there are still many test questions that are not based on HOTS. The social studies material test questions for class VI are dominated by the analyzing indicator (C4) with a total of 24 test items while the questions on the evaluating indicator (C5) with a total of 7 test items and a creating indicator (C6) with a total of 4 test items contained in the student book. class VI SD semester I and II.
