Abstract

Eksistensi suatu bangsa sangat ditentukan oleh karakter yang dimiliki masyarakatnya. Hanya bangsa yang memiliki karakter kuat yang mampu menjadikan dirinya sebagai bangsa yang bermartabat dan disegani oleh bangsa-bangsa lain. Oleh karena itu, menjadi bangsa yang berkarakter adalah keinginan kita semua. Keinginan menjadi bangsa yang berkarakter sesunggungnya sudah lama tertanam pada bangsa Indonesia. Salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan itu semua adalah dengan melalui pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian karakter pada film Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie dengan pendidikan karakter yang ada di Sekolah Dasar dan juga untuk mengetahui karakter siswa yang harus dimiliki dari animasi Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Content Analysis (Analisis Isi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kesesuaian sikap pada film animasi Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie dengan pendidikan karakter juga terdapat delapan sikap yang mencerminkan pendidikan karakter, yaitu sikap religius, sikap jujur, sikap demokratis, sikap peduli sosial, sikap tanggung jawab, sikap kerja keras, sikap bersahabat atau komunikatif, sikap rasa ingin tahu. ----- The existence of a nation is largely determined by the character possessed by its people. Only a nation that has a strong character can make itself a dignified nation and is respected by other nations. Therefore, becoming a nation of character is the desire of all of us. The desire to become a nation with true character has long been embedded in the Indonesian nation. One way to make it happen is through education. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the characters in the Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie film with character education in elementary schools and also to determine the character students must have from the animation Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie. The research method used in this research is Content Analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a suitability of attitudes in the animated film Adit Sopo Jarwo the Movie with character education. There are also eight attitudes that reflect character education, namely religious attitudes, honest attitudes, democratic attitudes, social care attitudes, responsible attitudes, hard work attitudes, friendly or communicative attitudes, and attitude of curiosity.
