Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan siswa akan peduli lingkungan masih kurang. Kurangnya kepedulian siswa kelas IV terhadap lingkungan disebabkan karena pembelajaran yang kurang optimal dan sumber belajar yang digunakan masih minim akan penjelasan terkait ecoliteracy. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pengembangan desain modul “TANGAN” berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning, hasil validasi modul “TANGAN” dan hasil peningkatan ecoliteracy siswa kelas IV setelah menggunakan modul “TANGAN” berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian design and development (D&D) dengan model ADDIE meliputi Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar angket untuk validasi kepada para ahli dan tes untuk mengukur ecoliteracy siswa. Hasil pengembangan desain modul “TANGAN” berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning disesuaikan dengan rancangan yang telah dibuat berdasarkan kriteria dan karakteristik modul “TANGAN”. Modul “TANGAN” merupakan modul cetak dan dapat digunakan dengan versi e-modul. Modul “TANGAN” berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning mendapatkan skor 97% dari para ahli sehingga menyatakan bahwa modul “TANGAN” “Sangat Layak” digunakan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan juga dengan hasil peningkatan ecoliteracy siswa setelah menggunakan modul “TANGAN” berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning dengan skor rata-rata 86 yang berada pada kategori “Baik”. This research is motivated by the ability of students to care about the environment is still lacking. The lack of concern for fourth grade students towards the environment is caused by less than optimal learning and the learning resources used to explain ecoliteracy are still lacking. This research aims to describe the results of the development of the "TANGAN" module design based on the contextual teaching and learning approach, the results of the validation and the results of improving the ecoliteracy of fourth grade students after using the "TANGAN" module based on the developed contextual teaching and learning. This research method uses design and development (D&D) with the ADDIE model namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The instruments used in this research include a questionnaire for validation and a test to measure ecoliteracy. The results of the development of the "TANGAN" module design based on a contextual teaching and learning approach are adjusted to the design that has been made based on the criteria and characteristics of the "TANGAN" module. The “TANGAN” module is an print module and can be used with the e-module version. The “TANGAN” module based on the contextual teaching and learning received a score of 97% from the experts, thus stating that the “TANGAN” module was “Very Appropriate” to use. This is also evidenced by the results of increasing students' ecoliteracy after using the "TANGAN" module based on a contextual teaching and learning with an average score of 86 which is in the "Good" category.
